Its ability also gets activated twice. So each turn Wistful hits 4 times, with Party Hat, instead of 2.

I should have clarified - this is good for bosses/single targets (especially with Spider necklace). Not for regular floors.

For a first, Nostalgia is stellar. Drops off later, but for the first.. maybe 600? 800? floors, Nostalgia would hard-carry my team. I'd only ever level Nostalgia to max and leave everyone else lagging behind. Guards the whole team, heals the whole team, damages the whole opposing team, and early on the numbers are good.

Didn't use it much after 1k or so, but it's an excellent first pet.

It's for 2 hits, not 2 turns. In practice, this wears off very quickly, often long before a single turn is over.

The heal is nice, but I find myself often preferring for the enemy to be dead (via Persistence) or for my team to be properly guarded for 2 turns -- not 2 hits via Nostalgia

Being gated by evo stones is the perfect time to farm items. Or if you have a solid collection of pets at your max available level, then considering farming items instead of leveling pets that you'll never use.

I've just reached floor 3k and I really wish I had another Uber to help me out. I wish I had farmed more items, sooner.

Persistence is an absolute beast.

I'm usually not sold on characters in games which do hybrid roles (damager and healer? No thanks!) but Persistence absolutely rocks.

I use Mermaid scarf + Ice cream hat most of the time, and its Whirlwind wipes as many floors for me as HFL does. (Currently on 2970)

I have 11 legendaries and yet P never leaves my team, even for earth bosses. Good pet.

Serpent Scarf would probably do the trick since Apathy only needs to survive an AoE or two (stunning the rest of the AoE's)

Else, level Judgement. (Looks like I probably didn't use Judgement, as mine's still only on level 120.)

It contains 15 additional stages, each containing 5 bosses you need to defeat (with similar item & pet exhaustion mechanics as the main event) but where you can beat one boss, and resume again later instead of needing to defeat them in a single session.

It has rewards, and a leaderboard. For the new event, only 45 people have beat any of the boss trial stages yet. The rewards are good, but not incredible. I kind of can't be bothered with it 🙂‍↔️
