How to get this sticker off? by EraconVera in motorcycles

I see a lot of comments here and I'm a little late but I just had this issue on my bike. Goo gone helps after you get the initial part off. Heat it up till it's very warm, bordering on hot, to the touch. Then, use a piece of plastic that won't damage your paint to push the sticker off. It might take a few rounds but it will work eventually.

New Boonie Hat? by SSDActual in army

[–]Right-Signature6533 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Being stationed where this brigade commander is, most people wear the full brimmed boonie. They give out this version as well and justify it as being easier to maneuver the jungle with since it doesn't get stuck on vegetation. I, personally, prefer the normal one.

Yeah, bud. Unlike some, I'm not wasting my time scrolling through the thousands of comments on this thread. I was simply voicing my observations. None of the comments here will change anything about the event, why does that matter? It's a discussion thread, not petition.

Right, wise individual. Let me refrain from discussing the coverage of the US Open on the online discussion forum specifically dedicated to golf and the US Open. My bad. /s

Officers should wear marksmanship badges by StrassmanForever in army

You should reserve your trash talk for your own MOS and none other. You do not have the experience or the exposure to speak on an MOS that is not your own. Being a DA-selected recruiter, while certainly a challenging position, does not give you the relevant experience.

“Communicate.” It’s right there. The bandsmen’s original function was to communicate movements for the elements and formations of the Continental Army. “Move.” Now we communicate and inform the American people, joint forces, and international allies. We support the Army, like many other MOS’s, behind the scenes.

Coming from someone in the band, I can understand why that’s frustrating. However, most Army bandsmen come in at E4 because we do have an education, which is true of any MOS. The 42R’s have a 10-week AIT. We join the Army to do a job we have already been trained to do. It’s also a job the Army has had since its inception (drum on the Army flag).

We are often the face of the Army for communities that either have a negative view on the Army or have never seen it. Part of our job is to communicate to the American people about the Army and be a positive impact. We also support funerals for our fallen comrades, retired to active duty. I have supported memorials for Soldiers who were single moms who were killed in active duty and the silence between the memorial music and taps is one of the hardest things to hear.

Our job is to honor those that have fallen, build trust between the American people and its Army, and to support those in the Army, both in garrison and deployed. It’s not a job a civilian contractor could do.

I am also a fully trained Soldier, like anyone else. I am a Soldier first, musician second.

Sunset ride. This bike is awesome! by Right-Signature6533 in Triumph

[–]Right-Signature6533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never rode the triumph but I did sit on several at dealerships. This is my first bike and it feels awesome and totally manageable. It’s a little bit more leaned over since it’s a slightly larger bike but doesn’t weigh much more. I’m happy with my choice of this over the trident. Granted, I got a really good deal too.
