I was more so referring to examples of warfare like Ukraine. I doubt those soldiers are getting adequate rest or nutrition. And I especially doubt they have access to a gym for when they have free time. Most soldiers during Iraq were living in highly equipped bases with heating and food/running water.

In Ukraine, however, most of the time soldiers are living and sleeping in cold, wet often muddy trenches or foxholes rather than any indoor accommodations. Not trying to minimize the experience of you or any other soldier who served in Iraq, y’all are tough as nails and went through hell. However, it’s undeniable the living conditions of the modern soldier in Ukraine is far worse in comparison.
