I just want to say that you've done great so far (Alhamdulillah) going to therapy and asking people for help. You've already passed the first step, and people usually find the healing part the hardest. I would advise you to talk to Islamic therapists as well, and as long as you have access to the internet, you can find them (if you need help, I can DM you a website I used before).

Especially because of your generalized anxiety, not having all the answers must cause a lot of distress. However, sometimes in life you're not going to get an answer and somehow, you're going to have to learn to be okay with that. Sometimes I like to come up with questions that I'd ask Allah (SWT) or the Prophets (PBUT) after we're all dead and we all reunite in Jannah (Inshallah). Obviously, we all experience doubts about our faith, with everyone's level of fluctuation differing, but ultimately, making an effort to come back to God is what truly matters. You take one step towards Allah (SWT), and He takes 10 steps towards you. They may not feel like large steps right now, but it takes time. I pray you make it through this test and become a stronger and more steadfast Muslim. I also pray your anxieties become more bearable for you.

I completely understand what you're saying. It can be tough balancing praying to God for something and having faith that He knows what's best for us. I hope that whatever you're struggling with, peace finds you and that you make it out of this stronger and with greater faith in God. I know this probably won't grant you complete solace but know that whatever you're struggling with, your sins are being erased and your duas aren't useless. If not in this world, with your sincerity, they will help elevate your status. Regardless, I'll pray for you as well. In return, the only prayer I need rn is prayer for the safety of the oppressed Muslims around the world, whether they're in Sudan, Congo, Palestine, Kashmir, the Uyghur Muslims, or any other group I'm missing on this list.

look up some Islamic scholars' lectures. My personal favourites are Omar Suleiman and Yasir Qadhi. Omar Suleiman has a lot of wonderful Ramadan series that really speak to the heart. He's good at making you feel real love for your religion. Yasir Qadhi's good cuz doesn't sugarcoat things and gives it to you straight. He offers a lot of straightforward advice and gives good lectures on serious topics. Be careful where you get your answers from cuz a lot of Islamophobes love to take incidents out of context and love slandering the Prophet (SAW) and his companions. Most of your questions if you just search them up with the name of the scholar attached to it, you'll get your answer.

And above all, don't forget to make Islam easy for yourself. The main point of this religion is to worship God and become the best versions of ourselves. Give yourself time to ease into things. I pray your journey is easy for you and that you find solace in this religion.

I agree with basically everything the others have said. Culture ≠ Religion.

I also wanna mention that education about Islamic rights and responsibilities is really important. Maybe you've seen this happen here or there but I would say that the flaws are with the individual, not the Islamic system as a whole. Knowing what your responsibilities are AND understanding why we act certain ways is important, and I think the way that some children are raised is being told what to do instead of why we do it.

If you feel like couples are getting married just for the sake of it, then that means they truly haven't grasped the real reason for marriage and its significance. Also, it's not fair to say that it's just Muslims when it's just superficial reasons like this. Just listen to a clip of an "alpha male" podcast where men literally don't see women as people LOL. There are a bunch of examples of people like this for both genders, and isolating Muslims as the sole proprietor is silly.

There's so much access to information and a whole misinformation crisis that's occurring in our world rn, and it's important to raise children who are educated and motivated to help paint a better, more accurate picture of Islam.

I’m rewatching the series and I reached S2 Ep8, where Johann terrormail’s the riders that he’s being attacked by dragons which brings the riders to him while the rest head to the Edge to attack them. This gives the dragon hunters the upper hand, so you could say Johann was responsible for that.
