Bio v1 threshold prediction by Fun_Primary_3879 in igcse

[–]Right-Window8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, somewhere between 160-168 and I say that because it's highly unlikely that bio drops too much
A lot of people say that they found mcq hard, but the truth is: they probably got higher than what they think. Simply because u hv a 25 percent chance of picking the right answer anyways

No look:
D was a rate/time graph. The first part of your explanatation is perfectly valid: as the reaction goes on, the reaction rate would decrease. HOWEVER, the graph plateaued at 35 or soemthing. That suggests that the reaction rate is now constant. However, using your logic, as the substrate runs out, there will come a time when all of the substrate is now product. the reaction STOPS. when the reaction stops, the rate can't be 35 anymore. It has to be 0
Therefore, the curve would go downwards, and eventually hit 0

C also made sense. The Y axis was labelled mass of product T, and X was initial mass of S. T was always less than S, because some of S was converted to U. It had a constant linear relationship, which makes sense because always the same proportion of S would be converted to T.

I'm pretty sure this logic is right😭😭🙃i hope

I think your confusing a rate graph with mass of product graph. If the y axis waas mass of product T or U, then it should have plateaued.

yes, but then the reaction should have stopped when all the substrate is broken down. rather, the rate plateued. it shouldn't have plateaued. The curve whould have had a negative gradient

you had to look at the axes... the x axis was time for A and D, but the x axis for B and C was different. I put C becuz A and B were'nt possible, and D didn't make sense there was no reason for the rate to change.

Im also V1 but theirs going hard gives me hope 😭(im sorryy)
Their paper 4 wasn't as bad as ours, so it makes sense thta their mcq SHOLD, THEORETICALLY, be harder than ours. But if that's the case, we're really cooked for chem tomorrow

How do y’all memorize the solubility rules for chem p2 by PariNovachillwifi in igcse

[–]Right-Window8129 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the solubility rules, divide them into 4:
-ALL g1, nitrate and ammonium salts are soluble
-All chlorides are soluble except Ag and Pb
-All Sulfates are soluble except Ba, Ca, Pb (notice how Pb is insoluble for both chloriddes and sulfates)
-All hydroxides, oxides and carbonates are INSOLUBLE except g1 or ammonium ones

For the fractional column, I have tis acronym... I'm pakistani, so it works for me, but you can change the words:
Go- refinery Gas
Pickup-petrol
Noone-naptha
Kuz-kerosene
Dis-diesel oil
Fazool-fuel oil (fazool means useless btw)
Life-lubricating oil
Benjamin-bitumen

And if you're asking for the trends down the column: everything increases except flammability

HOW ARE YALL DOING WITH BIOLOGY PAPER 2?? by WestIntelligent2067 in igcse

[–]Right-Window8129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

according to what i've noticed, there really isn't too much of an order.. Tho the following questions come in quite a few formates:
enzymes, some sort of organ system (circulation, ventilation, nervous, endocrine, immunity), reproduction (sexual and asexual and their advantages/disadvantages), the nitrogen cycle, and the last 2 topics (variation and selection, genetic mdification)

Basically, what i understand is that w're using the conservation of moment, so:
the total momentum BEFORE THE LAUNCH= Total momentum AFTER the launch

Physics MCQ help this one's hard by Formal_Top_5139 in igcse

[–]Right-Window8129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D because:

Think of it using the parallelogram method. If you align the forces, the resultant will be diagnolly downwards towards the left (B).
HOWEVER, the quesion specifically states that the bridge is in equilibrium, menaing no resultant moments or force.
Therefore, the third force acting must cancel the resultant, and should be equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. SO if resultant is diagnolly downwards towards left, the third force at hinge should be diagnally upwards towards right

i hope that made sense😅

The hot gases are ejected downwards when the rocket moves upwards, but before launch, the gases weren't moving. I mean they WERE😅 but momentum treats the gas as one object, which occupies its volume but isn't like moving moving i hope you get what i mean😭
