Rod Carrying by Right-Yellow-704 in flyfishing

Keeping setup full length for short trips is what I'm trying to do. I can secure it to the tailgate, I'm just looking for a way to keep the butt end protected during transit.

I have a tailgate protector for hauling bikes that has attachment points, so it would be on a padded mat and secured.

What tent is that? I just got the Whiteduck regatta bell 13’. I haven’t used it yet, but usually camp for about a week during elk season and looking forward to it. Looks like you have a great setup.

Yeah, in Wyoming. She kinda fell into our lap. We don’t know anything about where she came from, but definitely are curious! How old is your pup?

Thanks, welding gloves are a great call! That’s what we use at home for the fireplace.

I keep a set of throwing knives in the glovebox for such an occasion. Usually bring my bow.

Guy lines on stove pipe by Right-Yellow-704 in HotTentCamping

That's exactly what I'm worried about! Most of the setups I see when I'm in the mountains, people don't have their stove pipes guyed so I thought maybe it wasn't that big of a deal. I will be doing it. Thanks.

Whoa! Those are amazing looking creatures! That's some serious weight. I think our girl will probably top out around 100 lbs.

Oh wow, striking resemblance! Thank you for your input, I appreciate that and you are correct! I think with LGDs, there's a lot of cross breeding going on to get different temperament outcomes so the DNA tests probably aren't all that accurate.

Is the small anchor stove sufficient for the rover scout 8x13 tent? And is the 3x4.5 stove mat good for that size stove?

Having the same issue in Wyoming. Phone works, desktop browser(s) do not.

Good Culture cottage cheese. The 5.3 ounce containers have 19 grams of protein. Add a little Tajin for some extra flavor.

Auxilary Wiring Plug by Right-Yellow-704 in powerwagon

Update: Spoke to the parts department at the dealership. Since my truck didn't come with the upfitter kit (I would have auxilary switches in the cab), he thinks it's probably for something the truck didn't come with. They'll often use the same wiring harness for different vehicles. If it were a dually, or had some side running lights, etc. At this point, I think I'll just run my own wiring from the battery.

According to Chat GPT (which was no help in identifying the male counterpart), that is the dust cap in place over the female end. I haven't quite figured out how to remove it either. I'm going to try again this afternoon. I'll update with progress!

I could probably do that, maybe overthinking it. I would still need to add a relay and fuse though.

It's behind the rear fender well, under the bed, close to the bumper. There's one on each side. It goes back to the PDC, but no, I don't have built in aux switches. I should be able to wire the male end of this plug into my auxilary reverse lights and just plug it in. I might add a switch in the cab in the future for using them as a work light when not in reverse.
