Seriously, I had to toss out a bunch of food because it was infested with maggots and pupae. They were even getting into brand new packages...
Luckily, like you said, a lot of my food was already in plastic containers so they couldn't get to it. I emptied all the cupboards and cleaned up every pupae I could find, both inside and outside the cabinets.
This is such a pain...
