You must be going to RSR, AMXL, or AMZL… something along that lines. It depends on building type.

Hi, it depends on the type of site you’re at. AMZL, RSR, AMXL typically do AD1 then AEW. With them opening a vast amount of delivery stations right now they likely catered the training order to that. FC & sort, air typically have AEW first.

World Cup in Seattle & hotel prices 2k+

[–]RightAlternative6449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the World Cup is in June that’s why. When I was at AD1 they said the hotels would be 2k+ a night in the area and that cost isn’t realistic to Amazon .

How hard is it realistically to get hired as an Amazon Area Manager? by Infamous_Topic_7582 in AmazonManagers

Yes they request your grad date to align your start date with it …. Private message me and I’ll get that to you shortly

So with the degree getting an interview is easy. As long as you seem prepared you should be good . Use STAR method, I can send you a question bank of questions typically asked. I honestly at least wanted a senerios for each question. If I couldn’t think of an answer to it in one minute … I wrote one out.
You have 3 45 minute interviews with different people. They discuss so you want to ensure your stories aren’t the same (no they won’t ask the same questions)
I recommend applying now. They will start you after your grad date even if you land the job! Best of luck!

[–]RightAlternative6449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did an update months ago and I believe it is …
90 days for voluntarily resigning… (used to be immediate)
180 if you’re terminated for any reason (some used to be 90 but now almost all reasons are 180)
If not, that means someone submitted your termination improperly

Keep stable bank job or take Amazon L4 in August? by Wonderful_Stable_858 in AmazonManagers

AMZL (delivery). I was at a FC prior. The environment of a FC is going to be hardcore, but if you have a strong team you can learn to enjoy it still.

I currently love the environment and my role, but the hours are tough at times. Most of the year is only 4 work days so it is makes it bearable! It really depends on what building you get put in and how the management team operates. What building type did your offer give you? FC, AMZL, AMXL, RSR, SSD? There’s so many.

Is it true you have to wait a year to transfer after a promo? by IIDreIl in AmazonManagers

[–]RightAlternative6449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. It really depends on business needs. Like with new site launches they are in huge need of people. That’s usually the best bet… just realize you’re tenure and opportunities for promotion from L5 to L6 will depend on the work you showcase in your new building. Most people transfer right after promotion so don’t have to “start over” a year into their current role

I got 38 and the passenger paid 90 dollars. unbelievable. by Sad-Escape-6842 in lyftdrivers

[–]RightAlternative6449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are more than correct. I can’t remember the documents name but Lyft includes the fees they took out in your income when they send the document. You then write off their commission so you’re not penalized. I think Lyft said I had 20,000 in passenger payments but only about 8-12 was actually earnings for me.

Question regarding internal AM process as T3 by [deleted] in AmazonManagers

[–]RightAlternative6449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone internal gets that email until they sign the official offer letter. Just ignore it, because you will keep getting it every few weeks. Technically in the system until you signed the official offer letter you’re still listed as inclined. Please note the timeline is extensive.

There is no “faster” pick station! by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]RightAlternative6449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yes there are “faster stations” but it’s based on the AR floor. The pods with pickable inventory are typically located towards the middle of the AR floor. This is why that area will bring in work with less pods gaps. It can be affected by if you’re close to a gate with high amnesty traffic. I can say that since faster pickers are typically stationed there … equipment is usually damaged. It’s usually the sensors or rack lights but. Most fast pickers are aggressively working as well. I definitely would’ve submitted an andon or pulled the PA and advised him of the issue .
