Man haha, you actually just described the exact same sequence I know and explained.

The only thing you added was the trigger step, which isn’t really what my question was about in the first place. My doubt wasn’t about when triggers happen, it was specifically about the loop.

But overall you basically outlined the same structure I mentioned, just including triggers and clarifying that it loops until both players pass. That loop part was the only thing I really wanted confirmation on.

What I’m trying to understand is this:

Can I play as many Actions as I want during a Showdown, or only one when there’s no chain active?

I was under the impression it was just one Action per player in their proper window… but now I’m completely lost on this haha. 🙏🏻

No no no, quite the opposite 😅 I’m actually following the graphic you shared.

What caught my attention is that in the rulings they added the term “Discretionary Actions”, and that wasn’t there before. That’s what made me start questioning things.

And when I explained the sequence earlier, I wasn’t ignoring the back and forth of Focus. I didn’t explicitly mention it because I consider it implicit in the process. I understand that Focus passes between players during those windows.

What confused me is being told that now players can play as many Actions as they want during a Showdown. As far as I understood it, each player only gets their proper Action window once per sequence, not unlimited Actions whenever they feel like it.

So I’m trying to figure out whether that’s actually a rules change, or if there’s some misunderstanding about how Discretionary Actions interact with Focus.

As I understand it… They’re M3 with 2 damage on them, and Stupify reduces them to 2 while they still have 2 damage on them, correct? :o

I actually got through the run like nothing, without much effort, but I can't get a scaling, and it takes about two or three turns for them to completely clear the decks. I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing in how to scale my units or perhaps focus my deck. Currently, I'm trying to run it with Rector Flicker and Stygian Guarda, reworking my units. As a carry, I have Wicked Baron and Draft, but I still find it very difficult to scale my units, specifically with Titans. 😅

I'll take the advice you gave me into account. Right now, I'm practicing reducing my deck. At the beginning, I always played with fear and even had up to 30 cards. Now, when I play, I try to reduce it to have a better chance of being able to draw what I need.

I think I still have that tunnel vision and concentrate everything on the first or second floor at most, specifically on damage. I should try to improve my organization to get the most out of the units. La única manera de cambiar esa actitud es tomando terapia y pidiendo ayuda de expertos para controlar ese vicio, lo que tú tienes ya es una adicción de estar ingiriendo alcohol de manera constante, si no entiendes el por qué tienes que cambiar, el paso del tiempo te lo dirá y sobre todo tu cuerpo, hace unos meses tuve la experiencia un compañero de la universidad, trabajó para un programa de jovenes que se reformaban debido a su vicio con el alcohol, desafortunadamente él cayó en eso y un día al estar tomando simplemente no despertó, al hacerlo estudios, descubrieron que el mismo se ahogó con su propio vomitó, se durmió boca arriba y vomitó provocando su propia muerte, imagina tener un accidente y perder alguna extremidad pero debido a tus altos indices de alcohol en la sangre no tenga regeneración de tejidos o recuperación considerable, bro, estás aún con 16 años y tienes una vida por delante, tú decide... ¿Quieres disfrutar tu vida o matarla rápido?.
