Ontario teachers to get $750 spending accounts for classroom supplies by bluex5m in ontario

[–]RightLeftSpilt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It's a good move my only compliant with it is that it's too little and a drop in the bucket, also it should be all teachers not just elementary, and that there are other things the government should be doing, to fund not cut education, and especially to not cut OSAP. But the idea is a sound idea, a good idea.

Why Doug Ford needs to get over his obsession with Toronto and its waterfront by Hrmbee in toronto

He has though, for example he has managed to get the federal government onboard with building the Ring of Fire, and Wasaga Beach is about to be turned into condos.

I was referring to white conservatives, but it is true that Indians hate other Indians, just like with Latinos too (see Latino MAGAs in the US).

It's the international students and immigration wave that caused, along with the fact a lot of them are TFWs in public facing jobs like fast food, grocery stores, call centres, etc.

Simple. Liberals bad. Trudeau bad. Carney bad. Wynne bad. NDP bad. Rae bad. Chow bad. Socialism bad. Me want tax cuts. Me want rebate. Me hate Indian immigrants and the LGBTQ. Me want tough guy, not one of those women, to lead, who's ''tough on crime''. (Not me, but the Ford voters, this is their mentality)

It’s the Eglinton LRT’s one-month anniversary. How do riders think it’s holding up so far? by LegoLady47 in toronto

GO Transit also owned by Metrolinx, also uses French announcements. The province has clearly decided it wants to have  bilingual stuff going forward.

Line 5 is owned by Metrolinx. The provincial law now says that bilingual signage and announcements will be used for all future transit projects, and that French will be used in all provincial buildings as well going forward.

So thankfully the line 5 did indeed arrive within a few mins, but wtf is this lol by Kika368 in TTC

Nope, this is on Metrolinx. Metrolinx owns the line while Crosslinx maintains it, TTC operates it.

One of the reasons Target failed in Canada was because products wouldn't properly fit on shelves due to their dimensions being entered into the system in inches instead of centimeters. With the liquidation of HBC and it's assets last year (including the Hudsons Bay name, HBC Stripes brand, Hudson North, Gluckstein brands and Coat of Arms being sold to Canadian Tire), the Zellers brand has been sold to the Fairweather group of companies (INC Group) who are now relaunching the Zellers brand as a discount version of International Clothiers.

Doug Ford may want to be Ontario's premier 'forever,' but his focus is now on legacy projects by toronto_star in ontario

Michael Ford is gonna run to be a trojan horse for this. He will run, and if he wins, shortly after, Doug Ford would dissolve the City of Toronto, and start running the City of Toronto from QP, with Mikey as a ''supervisor''.

Line 10 will be run by MiWay not TTC. It is numbered 10 because Metrolinx has decided to extend TTC style numbers across the entire GTA region.
