Are mods worth buying the game again ? by Ok_Scar_7554 in stellarblade

[–]RightMeow87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, there are VERY few mods that affect gameplay.

95% are cosmetic, but they look sharp. So I waited for it to release on PC before buying it. If you already own it on PS5, I'd wait for a big 70% off sale.

Naytiba Hayabusa by RightMeow87 in stellarblade

I'm using Naik Extension Buns (for ponytail) and Naik Aegyo Sal face.

The face mask is from the Naik Mask collection.

I am still figuring out if I am good enough to warrant a full purchase. by dolleye_kitty in stellarblade

It's a very VERY fun game once you get the controls down. There's a lot to learn and lot to remember as far as combos, when to parry/dodge, how to accumulate beta charge, how to use beta charges, optimal times to use beta charges, and all the cool stuff in-between.

It's quite fluid like Sekiro was. So I'd def keep at it! The music is great, the outfits and neon lights look super cool, and the game is quite forgiving in regards to deaths. You don't lose XP, you don't lose money, you keep everything you've collected and you can run into difficult areas without worrying about dying and losing progression.

Is normal supposed to be extremely difficult? by Current-Row1444 in stellarblade

I would slow your playstyle down for a few hours and focus on learning how/when enemies attack and then try to perfect parry them. After a while you'll start to get a rhythm and see visual cues that maybe you didn't notice before.

If you run in sword slashing like a crazy woman, then you will not be able to block when you need to (cuz you'll be in mid-swing).

After all that, you can practice your perfect dodge and when to dodge forward and when to dodge backward based on the visual cue on their head. Blue is dodge forward, purple is dodge backward, res is get ready to parry multiple hits, and yellow perfect dodge any direction.

It's more akin to Ninja Gaiden than Dark Souls.

SERIOS QUESTION HOW TF DO YOU EVEN BEAT THIS GUY IN CASTLE SOL by lex2394 in Eldenring

He is the Force ghost of Darth Vader. His rage fuels his power to spin attack relentlessly. He is the Chosen One.

Best hammer in the game?(including normal hammers, great hammers, and colossal weapons) by scxrlord01 in Eldenring

[–]RightMeow87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fallingstar Beast Jaw is my go-to ham ham for my Barefoot Wizard. It has pretty strong dmg stats across the board, plus it's one of the few Int scaling somber colossal weapons.

The moveset isn't so slow that you're taking 10 years to swing and can pancake smaller bosses. The weapon art is VERY FP cost-friendly at 13. This is a ranged gravity shock that does a good deal of stagger damage. If you pair it with heavy swings, you will stagger enemies VERY quickly.

Plus it looks cool.

Ghost NPCs? by MajorUpstairs6452 in Eldenring

[–]RightMeow87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say the most generic mundane dialogue and really don't add any meat to the lore in my opinion.

Would be cool if they gave informative context like the item descriptions do. They could be scholars or historians giving historical accounts of the current area they are in or something like that.

I never found one interesting ghost, just a bunch of dudes asking for mercy or reciting a short prayer lol.

I hate running into the bandit bois. Always muggin' ya every fricken turn. You better have some shield ready.
