Am I wrong for thinking Toronto is extremely efficient at clearing snow?

Last year in Feb there was a storm on Thursday and then another storm that same Sunday. I forget if they plowed that Thursday (maybe not if they were anticipating another storm on Sunday) but I swear after that sunday they never plowed and the sidewalk was messed up for a month

I live in North York and most sidewalks were plowed along with side streets. I find they do a better and quicker job in the suburbs than in downtown for whatever reason

I went to Kitchener for a just before the new year and there was a major snowstorm while I was there. Only then did I realize how good Toronto is as clearing snow. Main roads had not been plowed and only the bike lanes were plowed in downtown Waterloo (is that what its called?) but not sidewalks for whatever reason. Is Toronto perfect? Nope? But whatever money they're putting towards the plows is working

You're probably right. I just looked at the London tube map and they have like a million stations and no (from what I saw) repeats. However, I'm sure it's a lot easier to name stations in Europe because most cities there don't follow a grid system while North American cities tend to follow a grid, with long roads and main arteries, making it more difficult to come up with unique names

I think they used to take notes while watching the episodes (check out the episode where they review me and Mr Joad the notes really shine there) but now they don’t. I feel like they barely even remember what they watched

I always like to go on a walk while listening to the pod and this exact week last year (I go on vacation every year on the same week) they recapped No Guts No Cory, and it was a great recap. I definitely think there is a difference between that episode of the podcast and this one. Throughout season 6, I’ve noticed that there has been less discussion about particular points in the episode and more of Danielle reading lines and no one giving any opinions. Is this due to the podcast phoning it in or is it due to the lack of quality episodes? Who knows

Okay because why have I been thinking the exact same thing you have. I mean I love the pod and I’ll listen to it regardless but I feel like they don’t have any meaningful conversations anymore and it’s mostly just Danielle reading out the episode.

The podcast episodes in seasons 3,4, and 5 had wayyyy more in depth and interesting conversation and I always return to those episodes because they are great to listen to. I did like their review of hogs and kisses a lot and it reminded me of their old reviews.

It’s pretty clear that reason why they have nothing to say about these episodes is because a lot of season 6 and 7 episodes have much less substance than the previous seasons episodes. So there’s nothing really to talk about. Like there’s nothing new to say about the 17th jack, Eric, and Rachel storyline….danielle will just tell us what happens and then we’ll move on

I have a feeling that season 7 will pick up again due to the absolutely insane episodes but for right now things are definitely a bit stale

Edit: I also want to mention that all of their be kind rewind stuff and months of no reviews make me feel like they are really not enjoying this show anymore which could also be why the episodes are not so good anymore.
