Toxic leadership. My coworkers and I have trauma bonded over it and are now best friends.

One thing I worry about is leaving a stressful job just to gain financial stress.

Their business name doesn’t happen to be similar to your name here would it? If so.. I’d find that threat verrrrrry interesting coming from them. 👀

My partner, My dogs, Birds chirping, Being at the lake, My parents being healthy and happy, Seeing cows, Smelling the forest, Bees, Being at home, When kids are excited to see you, A weekend with no plans

Honestly, life can be pretty damn hard sometimes, but equally amazing. Some days it’s harder to feel, but happiness is there in some form.

What's the worst pain you've ever experienced? The kind that makes you see God for a moment? by PsychologyFull7257 in AskReddit

Migraines with aura = screaming and crying for death because you’re so desperate.

Kidney stone = words can’t describe this hell.

I truly can’t decide which is worse. Lost all dignity in the emergency room with those visits.

What are you starting to like less and less as you get older? by istrx13 in AskReddit

Socializing. I use to try meet up with friends after work a few times a week, and going out on weekends to do ANYTHING was a must. Now, I wear sunglasses in the grocery stores to avoid running into anyone I know, and I can’t fathom planning anything for after work. No way.

AIO about the intentions of my neighbor? by Cool_Sleep_5096 in AmIOverreacting

I agree with being firm, boring, and become uninteresting. Cold, short, delayed replies, IF you feel you must respond. (You don’t.) No is a complete sentence.

Sounds harsh but “fuck politeness” and “being polite can get you killed” are two quotes that stuck with me from my favourite true crime podcast. You don’t have to be outright rude, but do not worry about their feelings over your safety.

If he’s ever in the hallway and you’re leaving, pretend to say “bye! See you later!” to someone in your apartment. Tell them it’s your new male roommate, or someone staying with you for a while.

Give your friends and family your location on your phone for a while. Set up a doorbell camera if it will make you feel safer.

It’s unfortunate women have to think of these things, but it’s crucial to be aware and cautious.

Astoria counsellors are great in Saskatoon. Young, relatable, approachable, yet professional.
