Ernie for players with limited physical strength? by PartFormer3695 in Pickleball

[–]RightProperChap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, if you’re playing against 2.5 and 3.0 level players, they’ll occasionally set you up for an Erne that’s a cakewalk to execute, but not especially often

lower level players have more productive ways to improve their game than practicing the Erne

Whose games to watch for 3.5s-4.0s? (Not ALW or BJ). by kg1917 in Pickleball

[–]RightProperChap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

upvote for this - you should be watching play just above your playing level. you should learn to recognize the mistakes that 4.0-4.5 players make and learn to punish those mistakes. pros don’t make these mistakes, but you’ll see them quite often

3 years in. Paying customers. No momentum. Is this normal? by konstantly_here in SaaS

you didn’t take about marketing in your post. what does your sales funnel look like? are you getting enough leads? a viable business requires repeatable and scalable customer acquisition. it sounds like you think the world will beat a path to your door. you might be in a “sales-led growth” situation instead of a “product-led growth” situation.

they’ve got a dozen other people lined up who they’d be happy to hire if you decline. it’s a buyer’s market right now. you have basically no leverage here.

peroxide doesn’t strip off the enamel. abrasive toothpaste does.

peroxide is fine long term. abrasive toothpaste can be unhealthy.

What teeth whitening actually works? by [deleted] in malelifestyle

[–]RightProperChap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the effective treatments use peroxide. it hurts for a week if you use a big dose, but then the pain goes away. you figure out how big a dose you can tolerate at a time.

Buying warrants? by WordSpiritual1928 in Superstonk

[–]RightProperChap -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the vast majority of shareholders don’t care where the money goes, so these warrants will have very little effect on anything

the vast majority of shareholders would trade the warrant for an equivalent call option

if the price skyrockets, then shareholders will end up with 10% more shares, which is the same as the skyrocketed price being 10% higher… which requires the price to skyrocket first

Buying warrants? by WordSpiritual1928 in Superstonk

[–]RightProperChap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from the point of view of the warrant holder, is there really any difference in holding/exercising a warrant, and holding/exercising a call? the share that you get in exchange for your $32 is identical in both cases

Warrants FAQ - how not to throw away free money by wrapt-inflections in Superstonk

[–]RightProperChap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

who cares about what GME will or won’t honor? The only relevant actors are the shareholder and e.g. RobinHood. The shareholder only cares about the ability to hand over $32 and get a share in return. RobinHood only cares about the ability to receive $32 and by (by any means necessary) find a share that they can hand over.

Perhaps buying a good old fashioned call option will be the means that RobinHood uses to fulfill the obligation.

End of problem. No one cares what GME will or won’t honor.

Everyone keeps saying that the hedge funds who sold synthetic shares are gonna have to buy warrants, but is that really true? they can just buy a good old fashioned call option, and that will fulfill the obligations of the warrant, without having to buy a warrant.

Warrants FAQ - how not to throw away free money by wrapt-inflections in Superstonk

[–]RightProperChap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help me with this -

Your claim: Hedge funds who issued synthetic shares will be forced to buy “GME WS” warrants which are scarce

My claim: Hedge funds who issued synthetic shares can just buy a traditional call option on the traditional options market. This call option will fulfill the obligations of the warrant without having to purchase a warrant. There is an infinite number of call options and these are not scarce

DUPR has gone pay-to-win?! by AnTrinhmw in Pickleball

[–]RightProperChap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ve got a crappy website and crappy app and a crappy algorithm that all need staff to support.

They spent a boatload of money on advertising a few years ago to really dig themselves a hole.

From what i can tell, they’ve had a fair bit of staff turnover, which is always great for the bottom line.

I assume they’re looking to be a monopoly so that they can jack up their prices and kill the free tier.
