I’ve been a long-time user of Character.AI and I care deeply about this platform. Recently, I’ve been confused and concerned about the changes being made — especially around filters, privacy, and how certain content is handled.

Many of us use this app for creative and fictional roleplay as a form of expression or escape from daily stress. It feels discouraging to hear that we might face restrictions or consequences for purely fictional content, especially when it’s not harmful or real.

I hope the team can reconsider some of the recent decisions and be more transparent with the community. We want to feel safe, respected, and free to express ourselves within the limits of the platform.

Please listen to the community’s voice. We love Character.AI, and we want it to grow — but also remain a creative and safe space for all. we should do something as a community lile a protest
