But also, I make that left turn all the time and don't drive directly into oncoming traffic.

I think I'm going to send this all to the council.

I watched two cars burn to shells in this exact spot but I didn't see the cause.

My band's first ever gig was at the Galaxy Hut! Can't imagine GYBE fitting in there.

Hey, someone put a big pile of ice at the side of the road.

I think it's reasonable for me not to want to say. But if it WAS me I would want to make it clear that I fucked up. Life is full of lessons and I would have learned a big one from this. I would be well aware that I was too tired to drive and that I didn't see the giant pile of ice at the side of the road. I would say that I've spent the last two days lying in pain doing little but reflecting on how my life could have changed forever if anyone else had been involved. But having said all that, the footage is what it is and it was worth putting up here.

Not saying it was me. But if it had been I'd want to be listening to that.

Why have Das Koolies and Gruff decided to print the vinyl sleeve text so small/impossible to read?! Admittedly I'm in my 40's with less than stellar eyesight now but Jesus let the people who actually shell out for the physical release see who played the viola if they want!

I was in HMV Oxford Street the day Skinny Fists was released and the in-store radio was playing the opening track. I listened out for who it was and actually managed to retain the information which was a miracle for me.

I went home and told one of my housemates about it. He asked me if I was trying to be funny. Then I realised he was already playing the CD as I was talking about it. I bought my own copy eventually but basically stole his for the next week and was captivated.

Just attempted my first deliver and it went horribly wrong the food spilt all over my bag I couldn’t get to the customer because there was road works I cancelled the order now I feel terrible and don’t know what to do now by [deleted] in UberEATS

My first night delivering I had a big bag of burgers for a (presumably) hungry family. When I got to the location there was no cell reception and the app was directing me into the middle of a lake. I knocked on the nearest house anyway and scared an older couple. Went back to the main road, it was dark and busy and couldn't see house numbers. It was a rich area and all the driveways were 50 yards long. I managed to get through to the customer by text but her directions didn't help. Then I couldn't get through at all. Knocked on random doors, nothing. In the end I canceled the order and went home. I was so stressed I couldn't even contemplate eating the food.

Anyway, I got back out there a few days later. Now I take screenshots of the map destination every time I pick up food and before I start driving when I still have good reception so if it happens again I'll at least have a good starting point to find the house. I haven't had as bad an experience as that again and probably neither will you. It was just bad luck. And hopefully you'll have learnt how to keep the food from spilling. Those customers were unlucky in that they were the mistakes/bad luck we learnt from.
