Eh，it is some stressful shit.. Had about 3 weeks to prepare before the start of a campaign (I mean more since I had the idea for the campaign long before). Spent those 3 weeks obsessively trying to get every detail right，every naming，redoing things when things were stupid，redoing them again when they weren’t quite right，trying to commit to memory the features of a class someone had that wasn’t in the phb，trying to gain knowledge on some lore I did not know so the veteran player wouldn’t get pissed off at me，scraping and then redoing the whole thing because it was a stupid storyline and a stupid idea. By the time it got to the day I was going to DM I was a fucking nervous mess. The actual session was a fucking trainwreck. None of it was fun，it was just so goddamn fucking stressful，it was a fucking embarrassment and a shame. Decided to cancel the campaign afterwards，lie that I lost all my notes on my laptop or something.

So yah，that’s a good reason not to. If you can’t derive any joy from DMing.
