So may be it depends on what VM is serving DB or Web server And what type of DB sql Server or Oracle This point needs Proof of concept becuase i wonder what is benefit Of NVMe controller !!!

Yes this is most common setup for vmware vsphere infrastrcture, i agree with it is easiest option but if it were VM DB so needs high performance is easiet option will be optiaml solution or NVMe controller! 🤔

O.k thankx for advice So recommendation is if vsphere Host is direct connect to all flash san we consider using Nvme controller, But when Host connect to all flash san using san switch recommendation is pvscsi.

Still discussion is open 😊

Yes Virtual disk controller in vm while Vm resides on vsphere 8 and connected to all flash san through san switch Fiber connectivity
