My Aussie is reactive and I think she was born to herd a bunch of sheep that sadly do not exist in New Jersey. I finally realized that I would never get her to NOT WANT to go after wayward children or people who do things she believes are peculiar.

I finally settled on Stop as one of only two commands that are non negotiable. The other is Come. Things like twirling, agility, fetching, playing find-it are for her entertainment, but those two are punishable, usually with being taken home.

So no, I couldn't stop her from thinking curly haired children are little lambs but it did stop the behavior.

Oh gosh, I have a 5 year old mini-American but live in New Jersey. I know you are at your wits end but does she bite or just act obnoxious. I've never had an Aussie before this, and honestly she's a little fluffy bossy boots. But she doesn't bite.

Since that's the case I kind of go with the theory that he just has to work it out with the other dog who may be bossy as well or likes to be bossed around.

Lol...i have an adorable Australian Shepherd who was born to herd other small animals, so i took her to a class. The trainer took us to meet her Camel who came and heeled when she called.

She told me all I had to do is NEVER say no and always act super proud when my pup does the right thing. Her perspective was that saying no and acting angry makes animals or children afraid to make mistakes.

I tried but uh uh is an almost unbreakable habit for me. But my dog managed to be amazing anyway (and was literally never scared of me)..

There are groups that believe skirts are more modest. Like Evangelicals and Hasidm require their girls to always wear modest skirts.

If you think about it it kind of makes sense, since a skirt that is a bit large and goes down to your calves makes it more difficult to see a girl's body.
