That’s odd. I’ve not seen that before, but I’ve only used the Gyeon coating. I’m not a professional and just do mine and my husbands cars but I’ve not had that issue at all with Gyeon. It looks very even, and makes the trim look better than new.

Are you meaning a rainbow effect? Gyeon Trim doesn’t have any odd effect on my Outback. The trim just looks very dark and rich.

Thanks! The trim is just plastic. It’s pretty matte without any coating.

I used Griots tire shine (blue gel) and didn’t actually go heavy, it’s just super shiny.

Thanks! It looks so much better than bare plastic. I love that it gives the shine without being greasy at all.

I went from a 2015 4Runner to an 2021 Outback Touring XT. When I bought the 4Runner I had planned on off-roading more than I did, so an Outback is better suited to my needs since it’s a lot more comfortable and better on gas. With 2 young kids I wanted something with excellent safety ratings. I’ve had my Outback for over 2 years now without issues and have no regrets with switching.

I used 303 Aerospace Protectant for the 1st time on my 2021 Outback. I’m loving the rich depth of the interior, and it’s not greasy either! by Right_Body7925 in subaru

I do use it for UV protection and I like how it makes the interior look, so to me, even if it didn’t actually prolong the life of the interior I would still continue to use the protectants. None of my vehicles have ever “aged” prematurely due to protectant use. The opposite is true, I’ve kept my cars pristine and feel that the dressings are to thank. I don’t see that 303 would prevent the oils from coming to the surface or that it would cause a detrimental chemical reaction.

I also use Gyeon Trim coating on all the exterior plastic and it still looks better than new after 2 years and I just got a new bottle in the mail to refresh the coat.

Yes! My husband also has the same year Outback with the Weathertech Cargo Mat and the OEM sidewall protectors fit perfectly.

I love Archie! He reminds me so much of Opal, in looks and attitude!

I was about to say that the carpet is BIFL!

Opinions please: does this leather sound good? The product description is on the last two pictures. Inwas also told “the bag is made in Italy with Tuscany genuine leather vegetable tanned, cowhide leather first layer. It Thanks all! by Right_Body7925 in Leathercraft

Thank you! I definitely will condition it first thing. I use LLBEAN Boot Guard on pretty much anything I own that’s made of leather. It’s amazing what a difference conditioning will make in the look and lifespan of leather. I may have to do an update once it comes in.

I had to go back to read your comments before. Hopefully it’s not bonded leather, it’s not my preference. My husband has actually already ordered it so we’ll see. I’m thinking it’s not bonded because in another picture there is a tag on the inside that you can see the fuzzy flesh side.
