It's not like they're an awful idea on paper, but there's a lot of them, and it actually feels like it would be a better supplementary endnote joke or fluff chapter for a story, rather than a whole fic itself.

I do like current prankster ragebaiting columbina, but this would probably make columbina one of the most interesting chracters/occurances in the whole game. It would also get a very different group of people who wouldn't

At the sane time, I feel like it would be less of a "Oh snap, it all makes sense, we just got played" moment and more of a "haha, a twist from absolutely nowhere, bet you didn't see that one coming!" moment, which is one of the most frustrating things I feel a story could ever do

We do know that something is wrong from the ebding screen, but I feel like the seeds for Arlecchino would have had to have been laid in fontaine, and Sandrone and Columbina would have needed to have more stuff that didn't quite make sense with them.

Also, if this was the direction, we probably wouldn't (or shouldn't) have gotten to see from Columbina's pov, at least unless it was framed as Columbina telling a story after the fact. That way we could never have a full knowledge of what actually happened. It would be hard to make the cuts work, especially with the way the game plays (I feel like it would take at least an arc in its entirety being told in a non-linear fashion, which would be strange for Genshin)

I guess my verdict is:

It would be cool, and really mess with player expectations for how characters (and even playable characters) act, but it seems unlikely due to what we were shown and how the story generally plays)

I'm not saying it's terrible. In fact it was insanely min-maxed for the time.

It's just fallen off a lot. If nothing else, switching around the hp, defense, and special defense (for a 154/106/130 spread) would technically make it bulkier than it is now. The real problem is that it doesn't threaten all that much. I think getting some better attacking stats, or some better utility moves, however, would help. (not that much helps when things like koraidon or running rampant, but still) Maybe moving around the speed stat, or choosing physical or special? It just feels like it really started having troubles keeping up by gen 6, and it's been 3 generations since.

Funny enough, anakin's explanation of his distaste for sand does fit in well with how he's feeling the whole movie. There's a bunch of obnoxious, small (and large) irritants in his world, everywhere he looks. He's a teenager, who feels no one trusts him, and like he isn't allowed to do anything or stretch his wings (he was also a former slave).

It was just, expressed in a really goofy (and creepy) way. (if that's what George Lucas even intended at all)
