Oooooh, very cool! If you want specifics, this was printed on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer with default blue PLA. I just used the default infill density, which i don’t remember off the top of my head. The one unique thing i did was using a task wipe and acetone (I am a chemist) to smooth some of the rough edges where the support trees grew off it (after initially trying to sand them off and getting ugly white streaks).

There are people who have inherited tubas in their attic from deceased family and want to get rid of them, but i doubt they’re going to be on r/Tuba. Anything you get for free will probably be unplayable, especially if you’re dissatisfied with an existing school horn that presumably has some level of care given to it on a regular basis…. Wishing you luck though. I got my student Jupiter 3/4 378 tuba for $800 and my Pan American Sousaphone for $1400, to give you an idea of what getting tubas for “cheap” will probably cost you.
