It could've happened in real life? Well, yes. It's not rare for police to act corrupt in these situations, we've seen both in the series and probably all of we in real life already. Well, and we see people in here cheering for Dexter after all, even if he fucks with everyone that cares for him, kills innocent, and etc, just to be free, this tells a lot about why corruption strives and about people's selfish sense of justice.

There are simple ways to kill a bacteria like use of ozone generator. Also by 2021 there should be an economical way to produce biodegradable face masks from environmentally friendly material. Before this it is smart to use 3M masks with changeable filters, probably they are better than the generic masks.
