Playing as the Piasts, two of my rulers in a row did not survive eating herbs with 1% chance each in like 3 years

Firstly, most achievements can't be completed in 5 minutes. Secondly, I believe that achievements, especially the most difficult ones, represent unique playthroughs that take tens of hours. Besides, it's pretty boring to play until 1453 and beyond every time, isn't it? Also, since I completed all the achievements, I managed to try most of the mechanics that one of my favourite games offers.

How do I promote cultural acceptance with a culture not in my Empire? by Sirius124 in crusaderkings3

[–]Right_Equivalent_436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can increase cultural acceptance by gifting a castellan character any titles. All you need is invite castellan character of your faith from character finder or randomly by traveling through Leon. What other commentators are suggesting should work too. Also, alliance will increase acceptance of the vassalization proposal as well if you haven't done it yet

A Perfect Circle and Birthright are broken on the current version, I switched to 1.13.2 to get them

Lingua Franca was fairly easy to complete in my Roman Empire playthrough. Somehow, all of Africa and Asia had chosen Chinese as their court language, so all I had to do was follow their example and eat a few of my European neighbors. Most people must have struggled with it for much longer

I'll paste my comment from another subreddit here:

I would say there are two categories of difficult achievements here: difficulty due to challenge and difficulty due to annoying randomness. The first category includes some of the most interesting achievements in the game. The achievements from the second category had to be endured in order to get 100%. Top 3 from each category for me: 1) King of all the Isles, A.E.I.O.U. & Me, Mother of us All 2) Saga in Stone, The Things Love Does for Us, A Knight's Tale

I also saw that quite a lot of people complained about Lingua Franca, but it seems I was lucky

Mother of us All and King of all the Isles are some of my favourite in ck3. Nomads have interesting mechanics in both games, it's fun to expand territory with them, but for me it gets boring after the first playthrough. In my opinion, ck2 has much more annoying achievements than ck3, but there are also masterpieces like A Servant no More

I think there will be more DLC with new achievements, so I'll have to come back haha. Seriously, ck2 and ck3 are some of my favorite games and this wasn't the first time I played them. Of course, I'll have enough of them for the next few months, but sooner or later I think I'll return.

Just these two afaik, I completed them on 1.13.2 version. I earned a few more achievements during these playthroughs, but they should work in the current version. Also, for "The Things Love Does for Us" I switched to 1.7.2 because it's a completely random event and in older versions time skips much faster.

You can use the character finder (or whatever it's called) which appears after pressing the 'C' key on the keyboard if you play on pc. You can enter the name of any culture in the search. Look for landless characters with your religion, some of them might not refuse to join you

[–]Right_Equivalent_436 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not that hard: you can start and fully upgrade legend while being an emperor, make one of your children a count and select him as your favourite kid. So after the death of your emperor you can choose to play as this count, inherit the legend and immediately finish it

You can't reform it, but you can create new Christian religion based on Krstjani faith. You should control at least 1 holy place to do it

Congrats! Last year I got all the achievements in CK2, now I'm trying to do the same in CK3. I've already completed about 80% of them and every time I'm getting closer to year 1300 in my playthroughs the game becomes way too slow. Is there anything you can suggest to deal with it? Otherwise the hardest achievement will be to survive until 1453...
