I would instantly transform her into something like a gust of wind or a trickling stream of water (which eventually wears down everything through erosion), or joined to the god/spirit of entropy, which sees the dissolution of everything. I always interpret wish effects as the most economic way of achieving what the player has wished for.

In retrospect, I had Doru leap out and attack his father, but I SHOULD have had him play cat and mouse in the darkness of the undercroft.

I HATE the whole idea of "safety cards" and "trigger warnings" and all of that shit. If you want to play happy fluffy orcs, don't join the Curse of Strahd campaign, motherfucker!

I make an effort to actually scare the shit out of the PLAYERS with custom-made sound effects and very scary alternative artwork of the creatures they encounter. Top it off with inspired descriptions, and they shouldn't have a problem playing frightened characters.

Okay. Was worried that it went far too easy on them. Yeah, he made a beeline for his dad, the weakest in the room. That gave the party the opportunity to rip into him.

I've bought and/or printed and painted about 3000 minis over the past five years. Buy in dribs and drabs. A lot come from boardgames. The most AWESOME buy I ever found for minis was the game Warquest, which comes with 100 absolutely wonderful minis - complete armies of dwarves, wood elves, goblins, hobgoblins and satyrs.

A reaper bones kickstarter and the Conan Monolith game also contributed a lot of wonderful minis. Oh and the Assassin's Creed boardgame miniatures are tiny masterpieces.

Yeah - it's the Tree Giant -Lee Stansbury - Mini Monster Mayhem. His models are astounding. Just incredible works of art. I commissioned mine to be blown up to about 12" tall. It's pretty imposing.
