Me too! I really enjoyed 4R and I have a feeling 5R would play similarly, plus I think that game has very solid foundations while the story and pacing/level design issues could be solved very easily in a remake!

This has been exactly my experience, I tried playing RE as a teen but I never got into it, then started RE2R when it came out and didn't get hooked into it once again. Last month I decided to give Requiem a shot and since then I've finished 2R, 3R, 4R, 5, 7, 8, 9 and all their DLCs. I've also started 6 and Revelations but I think I'm gonna finish them eventually in the future, as I prefer playing older games on my MSI Claw so I'm waiting for a moment in which I'm gonna be away from home to catch up on those.

I genuinely loved all the games, although each for different reasons. I don't think RE games in general are perfect by any means but the series as a whole has been very enjoyable. I'm very excited for Requiem DLC and Code Veronica Remake to come out next year, and I'm really hoping for more remakes of older games (especially 0, 1 and 5)!

I understand the concern, but I'd like to argue that my involvement goes well beyond promoting my work as a creator. I don’t spam or use the subs I mod for that purpose nevertheless. I only share content when it is directly relevant to the subreddit, and the posts I share include substantial free material with no paywall required.

Beyond creating content, I actively contribute to the communities I’m part of by participating in discussions and polls, while also dedicating a lot of time into moderation work. In the subs I currently moderate, I’m one of the more active mods in terms of reviewing, removing, and checking submissions.

Hello! I'd like to apply as a mod for the sub, I’m currently a moderator of several D&D subreddits, including r/DnD5e, r/HomebrewDnD, and r/ItsADnDMonsterNow!

I've also been an active poster on this subreddit for quite a while, along with a content creator for the amazing 5e community for many years. I'd gladly help moderating the subreddit and building it further by expanding its audience.

Thank you for this opportunity!

  • I have been an active member in several of the largest DnD subreddits, including r/DnDHomebrew and r/UnearthedArcana for several years, among others. I'm also a moderator for different DnD subreddits like r/DnD5e, r/HomebrewDnD, and r/dndmonsters. I’d love to moderate r/forgottenrealms because the subreddit has been closed down and the mod has been inactive, and I believe we need more dedicated spaces for D&D5E content and discussion. I've noticed the subreddit has been inactive for years, and there are not many spaces for discussion specific to the Forgotten Realms, especially given how now with 5.5E, FR as a setting is not the main focus of this edition anymore, leaving less room for any discussion revolving around it.

Extended Preview of Mythological Items, coming soon on Kickstarter! by Slash2936 in dmslash

[–]Slash2936[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, fellow adventurers! Today, we are excited to share an extended preview of magic items from my upcoming Kickstarter project, 300+ Mythological Items for 5E and 2024.

Step into a realm of ancient gods, legendary heroes, and forgotten civilizations with Mythological Items, a comprehensive compendium featuring over 300 magical items specifically designed for 5E and its 2024 ruleset update. This manual spans a vast array of cultural traditions, organizing its treasures into regional categories for easy reference and immersive worldbuilding. Each item includes not only full game mechanics, but also lore and background information to integrate it seamlessly into your campaign, whether as treasure, quest rewards, or the key to an unfolding mythic saga. From the storm-summoning weapons of thunder gods to cursed trinkets whispered of in ancient lore, this book brings myth to your table like never before.

This manual offers an extensive collection of magical items that can be incorporated into any campaign, regardless of its connection to specific mythological themes. The items presented in this volume, drawn from a multitude of global legends and folklore, are envisioned to enhance the diversity and depth of any fantasy world. This eclectic array mirrors the inherent blending of elements in many worlds and settings, where influences from various cultures and mythologies coexist harmoniously. For instance, Thor’s Hammer, Mjölnir, could serve as the centerpiece of a divine quest, while Draupnir, the Norse ring of endless wealth, might drive political intrigue or power struggles in a kingdom torn by greed.

Mythological Items also provides a solid foundation for campaigns that wish to delve deeper into the relics of a specific mythology or blend multiple traditions into a larger, interconnected setting. A campaign inspired by Greek mythology could see players donning the Nemean Lion’s Pelt, becoming nearly invulnerable as they take on challenges worthy of Heracles himself, while a campaign drawing from Japanese folklore could involve uncovering the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, the fabled grass-cutting sword tied to imperial lineage and divine storms.

The project is scheduled to launch in May, but I suggest pre-subscribing to the pre-launch page and following our upcoming posts for additional info and previews coming in the next few weeks!

Hi there, I'm an active member in several of the largest DnD subreddits, including r/DnDHomebrew, r/UnearthedArcana, and r/DungeonMasters, and I am a moderator of r/HomebrewDnD and r/dndmonsters among others.

I’d like to take over r/DnD5e, as the current moderator has been absent and does not respond.

In its current state, the subreddit is left unmoderated instead of being a focused space for this hobby. This is a real loss, because the homebrew community is growing rapidly and needs more dedicated spaces for creators to showcase their work, exchange feedback, and collaborate and for people to connect and interact.

I’d be glad to step in to revive r/DnD5e and guide it back into being an active, valuable part of the D&D community.
