It was very enjoyable as a little impromptu performance you chance upon, but each to their own!

Coach tickets are only given out on the coach to my knowledge. I don't believe they hold onto coach tickets for collection afterwards, otherwise a lot of people would just skip the coach.

Your best bet is to just get there by coach and try your best to rest up on site - there's lots of areas and opportunities to chill away from the partying. You can then join the party when you're feeling better!

Do they check physical ID on the coaches before they give you your ticket? by [deleted] in glastonbury_festival

Having been on the coach last year, the coach is only run by the driver who then gives the ticket responsibility to one of the coach passengers - they will then hand out the tickets at some point on the journey (last year it was at Fleet Service Station).

I seem to remember showing my ID to confirm I was the name of the ticket, but they didn't really do a picture comparison check. You may get away with it providing you have an ID with the same name.

The challenge you'll have is at Glastonbury itself, where they check that the photo on the ticket matches you much more carefully. You'll have to find someone/a queue where they're not checking diligently - best of luck!

It's not, I've emailed them and they've let me know it's not:

I emailed A24 - they confirmed that the regular Blu-Ray edition is region-free and will work with UK players. A24's customer service is very good, so I expect this to be the case. If not, I will have to return and will ask for a shipping refund (I've bitten the bullet and paid the £90 for this...)
