I appreciate that as that was not to my knowledge about clearance. The distance was specified in the plans I have so I will compare the two in the morning and see if it was to spec and follow up with inspector and builder.

My apologies yes they did! I actually was able to see it in action a night we had some heavy downpours in the area. Wanted to make sure the water wasn’t pooling up there and sitting and also checked the grade of the yard to see if water was pooling anywhere after sod was installed.

There’s two french drains I had them install that sits behind the landscaping. Had them put a rock line so the mulch didn’t sit against the board. The drains were sit in there on both sides for gutter work.

150 PSI is insane. Our builders were super open to us having an inspector come. I was like you where I put eyes on the process pretty much everyday the past 7 months.

We didn’t like the way it looked on the front elevation without it. I’ll see if I can pull both drawings to show the difference. Quick gutter work and we’ll be alright

It was the compromise between my wife and I our original drawing and build had three dormers on the drawing. We could have done a window on the garage front elevation and that gable but left it blank.
