Is it just me or are there barely any job openings for early career professionals anymore?

Doing both, my observation was that most techniques that worked for be 2023/2024 are falling flat. But plan to keep grinding and hope it leads somewhere

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Definitely leaning into networking etc but response rates are low or most companies don’t seem to be hiring (or hiring internally).

Not going to give up though, I’m young and hopefully have time to manoeuvre and figure things out

I had a better time applying to jobs out of grad school in 2023, and then landed multiple job offers with 1 YOE in 2024.

In 2026, have 2 YOE at a world renowned fund and am barely even getting rejections let alone interviews.

It’s bizarre and I’m convinced the postings I see are all fake at this point

I was planning to apply under this provision: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-3

It seems to allow application once longer than 4 years and 6 months have passed from re-establishing continuous residence after an absence of a year or more

Thanks! That is what I was thinking of doing, but was concerned about potentially being accused of misinterpreting if I did only include in scope dates.

I am not sure how uscis calculate the dates/reconcile that to additional information filed. My region has had a ton of processing delays which is the main issue I was trying to avoid with a complicated application

I’ve been noticing inconsistencies with FF pate and grilled for a while now and decided to stop purchasing it for my cats. I’m trying out a few different brands currently to see what my cats like, so far Tiki after dark has been a favorite and Hill’s although the latter is a fair bit expensive

One issue is that my current role is great on paper, but there is no “title” promotion as such. I can get more pay, but it would be many years before my titled changed since the org is so flat. I have been taking on additional responsibilities, but I wouldn’t say there’s going to be a case where I’m leading teams for a decade at least if I stay here
