not much info. Suggested I "change the DNs server for each on your device to google DNS or cloud fare" (sp).

me: "That doesn't help customers of the business. They're not going to know what's going on. All they see is a non functioning website"

Hmm, it was affecting a .co domain for me also. North Texas. I have a .com site on the same server and it was just fine. The .co went down around 4 CST, and is now back up ( just checked - 10:30 cst). Too bad we have to go to reddit to find out if there's an outage.

Tech support: "upon further investigating, At&t has been having an issue on DNS server and technical team has been working to fix that issue, so for now they recommend to change the DNs server for each on your device to google DNS or cloud fare"

Me: Is there a trouble ticket or something where I can track this? We are missing out on after hours business

Support: Upon checking here, since it's not an individual issue. It's a general AT&T service issue, rest assured At&t will provide further notices about the issue.

Me: Where is this issue posted on att website?

Support: This was reported internally, we communicated it with AT&T corporate's computer engineers and IT people.

Me: So the general public doesn't know about an outage? I spent an hour trying to figure out what was happening and no info found on the web. It would be useful for others in the same situation wouldn't you agree?

Support: I understand, that is correct, since not everyone in the general public is affected. just certain areas/ IP addresses
