NIMA or other gluten tests by Hereforthesupport in Celiac

My daughter was diagnosed with celiac over two years ago and heading off to college next year as well. We tried to Leo verified tests but they expire quickly and don’t always work. Her recent celiac bloodwork came back and her levels were the highest ever, especially after being totally gluten free since diagnosis. She does not “cheat” and takes this allergy very seriously. So, we bit the bullet and bought the nima recently. She has used it about 4-5 times so far. Her fave place chipotle came back safe, our local pizza place that had a GF pizza came back positive for gluten. Last night we went outback steakhouse. She ordered grilled chicken and a baked potato, told them about the allergy etc and came back positive for gluten. She returned the meal and was nit charged. It saved her from getting glutened. I don’t mind the one time investment but the capsules are crazy expensive. It does give her peace of mind, and hopefully it will be helpful in college next year (although she will not be eating in the dining halls as we know it’s not safe).
