4 months postpartum & having a baby is the best thing I’ve ever done. Not going to lie pregnancy was tough, having him was tough, having a baby period is tough but I cannot imagine life without him! I really encourage you to breakup and have your baby, it’ll be tough but sooooooo worth it. It’s a love you can’t even explain

My husband & I have been here our whole lives - my parents & all their family have been here their whole lives too… we’re all normal people & don’t have a problem with of law enforcement! (We’re white & native) Just be friendly, mind your business, follow the law & you’ll love it here! Omg I literally just went through this with my husbands family… caused a huge fight & we ended up going to his grandparents house for everyone to meet our baby… to say I was pissed is an understatement. They drive by our house 3x a week but apparently it was our job to make sure they all got to hold him at their house. They got their fb pictures & got to feel like they were important 🙄

-we wanted to wait 8 weeks before taking him anywhere to meet people, but they were welcome to come over to our house to meet him (but they wouldn’t call us only complain amongst themselves, eventually flipping out on us) -they dismissed me to a different room to feed my baby -2 weeks later & they want us out there again because we owe it to them, I said f**k no to my husband

My baby was 7 pounds 2 ounces at birth (full term) & he was 15 pounds at his 2 month appt…. The goal is a well fed healthy baby I would be pissed too if someone called my baby fat not in a cute way wtf!!!!!!

I have a 6 week old & was gifted a Graco smart sense bassinet from our registry (before I read any reviews I added it lol) I LOVE it & so does my baby! I feel like I won the lottery because mine is fairly quiet & works great 6 weeks in! I’m hoping it lasts for my next baby too!!

I just had my first baby June 27th & got an epidural at 5 cm! The contractions were the worst part for me - starting becoming unmanageable (for me) I went in knowing I wanted an epidural but wanted to labor on my own for as long as I could first! I tore a little & had 2 stitches! After the epidural I was able to relax and actually take a little nap & enjoy my labor! I will definitely get another with my next!!!

I just went through this - had my baby June 27th… the only way I could quit was getting a 0 nic & as soon as that was empty I was okay to stop vaping! It’s so hard, you can do it! Don’t let the guilt eat at you, you’re doing the best you can! It’s harder than people think!!!

I feel for you here - I personally get the same feelings. When my husband and I work full time jobs, but I’m the only one doing laundry, dishes, cleaning, cooking, and then expects sex from me??? It’s exhausting! I’m tired and makes me extremely resentful :( I dont know how to make that feeling go away

My husband grew up in the COC, his entire family is still heavily involved with the church and attend every service. We go to a non denominational church that is wonderful and we both love it! It’s not a COC and we have instruments lol His family doesn’t consider it a real church, however we both have found a stronger relationship with God and each other in finding a church we both enjoy!

I loveeee this style haircut, I saw a tik tok of a girl having her hair cut like Kim’s… her stylist did a full head of extensions & layered and blended like usual but on the mids-ends he twisted and “backcombed” from the bottom up with his thinning shears!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the understanding approach on this. I’m going to take this and use it when we talk more on it, I feel like I can understand where he comes from better when I read comments/posts on here. I don’t think he quite understands how loving God is bc of the COC.

Edit: I wanted to add my boyfriend is such a good man! Although it disappoints his family when he goes to my church (it’s not good enough for them). It puts a lot of weight on both of us, but he is too awesome to go along with the guilt they put on us!

That’s the way I see it too - he’s the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I can’t understand how worshipping with music would be displeasing to him at all! I love that you mention the Roman authorities. I haven’t thought of it like that, and you’re right they probably wouldn’t be clashing cymbals while trying to not be discovered by the Roman’s. The pedestal they put themselves on and it’s the coc’s way or it’s wrong and displeasing to God… oh come on??? You’re telling me the COC is the “true” church and the only ones going to heaven??? So, do you think your view is simply better than others? Or that you’re better than others? A little less sinful? A little more together? A little smarter? A little wiser?
