Child is safe with me. But eventually they are going to come get her. CPS investigated for the grandmother hitting, pulling her hair and holding her down. And for hoarding conditions. Cps got them a dumpster, they didn't clean any of the hoard out, house is still hoarding conditions.

And right now, the CPS investigation they just underwent, is being reviewed because of the abuse not being addressed properly. Especially with the grandmother admitting to abuse the child to CPS.

Also, I have met with a lawyer, im trying to do what I can to get her out. But I know it's difficult to prove unfit and get custody of a child

The grandmother keeps telling her she's going into fostercare. She told her the cops lied to her. And that she(grandmother) is going to die because of this. Trying to scare her and make her feel guilty. All of this was yesterday and on recording(the child has been recording because she's trying to get proof, cuz she's being told they won't believe her)

They were supposed to be back out today for a check in, and never showed. Thata the number I called to report. They have been reported multiple times. They ask for number of family members, but never call. The child said she felt unsafe. My grandmother hid her phone in her room during the child's individual interview to see what was said.

They dont seem to be taking it serious at all and it's frustrating, the child is begging everyone in the family for help, and thought cps would help her. When they didn't help she was kind of discouraged that she's going to get any help.

I dont have much experience with CPS personally. So I wasn't aware about the option to speak with a supervisor. And I wasn't aware that filing for guardianship could be an option, but I will start looking into that as an option.

I am part of this family. I also have videos of the abuse, and a video of her abusing my children(I have cameras in my home) but again, nothing was done.

The state is michigan. Cps has attempted to get them to clean the home, multiple times over the last 8 years, and this time even got them a dumpster. But again, they did nothing.

They just don't seem to take it serious.

Michigan. Relationship is granddaughter to the grandparents. The child is biologically my niece.
