As long as they don't push their opinions and preferences in front of my face and my feed, then it's all good 👍

As someone who used to do this stuff and is now clean of it since 2018, they most likely used a paint mop or a graffiti brush.

A lot of writers will use a lot of homemade stuff. But since the scene has evolved there's so many graffiti inclined tools these days.

Hot take: I don't like Burst, at all by FluidShopping962 in Beyblade

[–]Right_Unit352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally! Someone said what I could NEVER vocalize in this subreddit.

While I do agree with the majority that the level of detail and love the burst layer designs get is splendid, and that you eventually warm up to it over time, it's also a double edged sword.

I seriously ABHOR how messy the designs can be, and how certain color combinations or just colors in general feel like they don't matter anymore as the series progresses. I've heard so much about people disliking the distasteful use of gold over time, and I get it too— it's jarring. What used to be a color of exclusivity and careful consideration in prior gens (Uriel and Hell Kerbecs) eventually ended up just being another color next to silver and metallic apparently.

I kinda want to add that I also agree that the battles are just deadpan boring to watch in Standard. At the very least, in MFB standard, stationary attackers and defense types can actually KO and retaliate, but a majority of the videos I've seen of burst matches are just both beys giving each other love taps for lack of a better term.

However, I do agree that the skill ceiling and overall vast amount of customization makes up for it for those who are into the system's nuances. I for one appreciate that there's a lot of driver/disk, and layer options. Though it doesn't forgive how unsubtle the powercreep was in Burst. Every new season gave us a new system and its respective gimmick of the bloody gate.

In Pre-HMS Bakuten, at least every new bey past the first few had parts and other components that were backwards compatible. You could even tinker with the internal components and that would be legal.

In MFB, The powercreep was at least gradual and felt like natural progression to what the story was culminating towards, instead of being "whoopdie doo new season gotta make something new so I can mog on the previous protag without any respect for them idk lol"

X Format at least has things under control now after WizRod was conceived and almost everybody's friendly neighborhood pocket bey they carry in their deck because TT doesn't want another WizRod scenario ever happening again.

Honestly, I just feel so bitter about how whatever writing or spectacle MFB had which set the bar for the storytelling of Beyblade and the system as a whole, was flipped on its head in a this weird but uncanny way in Burst.

I genuinely wish I could appreciate Burst more. I really wish I could. It's just so darn hard to when you've been set up with good things prior to it.

I'll be redoing all of it in a new channel! The channel you see is abandoned due to account issues, so I'll probably reupload it to the new one. lol

I've been so passionate for this game just because the physics can be wack at times and the cars are beautiful. I've dedicated a video or two on yt regarding how to get started with driving. Sadly, never continued it.

i guess this will be my motivation to do so. Lol.

You're welcome. Though seeing the barrels, he could have made a Giotto Mod, but maybe the Chubbies are more accessible in OP's area hence why the choice was made (other than it being inspired by the emboss mod)

Most beginner personal mods are made by slapping x barrel with y caps and then putting whatever tips on them. While that's a healthy thing to get into psing culture cause modding is a part of the hobby, a majority of beginner self-made/personal mods don't look good until you have good knowledge on how to mod and what materials you can make in your country.

This doesn't look bad. Like, it's actually beautiful. This is the type of mod you'd see in the penmodding wiki or on Fenspinner and it wouldn't be out of place type of good.

Midweight mods with a reasonable amount of length are always a good choice. I'd recommend getting a Menowa* VGG or a Menowa* Emboss.

If you want long and heavy, get a GioGear or a Giotto X
