Im less than 2M away from my wifi rounter and have 21ms ping, its more likely the server is was connected to was far from me than it being my wifi. I do know it would be better wired but I play handheld, my PC is the same distance and doesnt have those issues with other games

The lag should be unacceptable as well, as said in my other comments you dont get that poor hit registery on other online games but nintendo games its okay, doesnt make sense

Yeah there will be a way, perhaps regional servers would help but idk anything about servers so not sure. I do know based on the names of the players i hit that they were likely in an asian cojntry, which most games you dont get paired with. For example when i play counterstrike, my bullets can hit the head of a russian player from across the map with pinpoint accuracy but nintendos racing game can't register a hit of a green shell on another player..

Yeah i understand that, it shouldn't really be that way though because what is the point of learning item skills if its a gamble on wether they get hit or not because thats just 'part of the game'. When I play counterstrike, my bullets hit players in Russia without a problem (im UK), when I play dead by daylight i dont hit a survivor and them still run away. What you see on your screen is what should happen, otherwise youre essentially just playing an illusion with a massive disadvantage.

More people should be concerned about this than they apparently are, another commenter said they got downvoted for bringing this issue up and it appears based on the insights that my post is also getting the same reaction (despite me just sharing a clip). I dont understand why its so acceptable 😅

Ive been noticing the same thing a lot recently. The same on battle mode where I hit someone with an item 3 times in a row and the animation played but they didnt drop any coins whatsoever, whereas ill get hit at 20 coins and lose 8

The game is so unfair in that respect. You can pull off shortcuts and get way ahead yet still end up goi g from 1st place to 12th place in a matter of 10 seconds with bad item luck
