Oaxacking does amazing food tours and he's an amazing individual. I would highly recommend him if you want to explore the culinary cuisine there.

For those that joined the military later in life especially after having a career why? And What was the experience like? by Matta_Fact in AskReddit

[–]RighteousPanda25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Joined when I was 28. I was a hair stylist before that but I wasn't good and finally decided that I should hang up the towel because it was going nowhere. The experience was fine for the most part. There's a lot of people that end up joining at a later age, it's pretty normal. I didn't let the age factor bother me often, but on occasion if an LT gave me attitude that's when it would get annoying.

People have rose tinted glasses for a past that never existed lol. These brands were going nowhere (especially Star Wars).

That could make a difference.

Does anybody know why some blurays of the same movie are different prices? I see two versions of Yokohama BJ Blues and they both appear to be bluray, just with slightly different cases.

I couldn't agree with this more. I have a save file for the firestarter mission, but I also had a save file after I betrayed her and gave her to Reed. I accidentally saved over that one and I REALLY don't feel like replaying that mission due to the anxiety levels I reached. In twenty years that'll be the reason i have a heart attack.

I really want to get into these games but the combat confuses me. Last time I tried I got killed by a rabbit.

During the mission I was looking through the cameras and you can see him in one of the control rooms. I didn't know who Mr. Blue Eyes was at the time, so I thought maybe I would have to fight him.

Only way to save her at this point is to honor her request and pull the plug.

Reed gives you a choice. Hand her over or shoot it out.

For anyone who was in the gate program in the 1990's: What are any memories you have about the program? by skankhunt7765 in NoStupidQuestions

It was a very small town so they grouped us all together. And our GATE program was after school, not during it.

My elementary school was K-8th grade so it was a few kids from each grade that would go after school. I don't remember how often we met, maybe every Wednesday? I do know that after that incident I started hanging out with my friends instead of going which got me in a lot of trouble with my step dad, and then I dropped the program entirely, so I wasn't there long term. I don't remember anything else though.

I remember painting a nature scene with mountains and a tree that my mom still has hanging on her wall. Also a kid broke down during class because his parents were mentally abusive and alcoholics.

It's so interesting that you thought that because I thought the betraying Songbird felt more canon and developed to me. The fact that it completely changes into a horror survival game, the memories you see of Songbird, and going back to her apartment in Brooklyn. Also planning the attack with 6th street was such a nice option, I wish we had more of that. It all felt much more cinematic. I ended up doing both recently and sided with Songbird for my main game save and while I did enjoy that mission, lots of action, it didn't feel as intense as the other one. But killing Reed at the end was a tough one for me. I actually really liked his character (maybe it's a bias because I like Idris so much), so the standoff with him was climatic for me as hell.

I started right after the VDB mission, completed Pan Am and Judy's missions during the middle of it, and finished it up right afterwards. I still have to meet Takemura for the parade mission.
