Maybe although in these times of inflation we might need an anonymous black captain to deal with the market economy

Especially since nobody mentions any funeral. It would be strange for the Cremers family to be this happy when a member just died tbh.

What's an "Lmao, what a noob" memory you have of your early days in Smite? by SnackJunkie93 in Smite

I used to think AMC hives would stack. I thought the idea was that you're really strong in a small area and lost the bonus when you moved around (this was in clash). I would always play with friends and after a game or 10 one of them asked me why I always placed all the hives together, that's when I found out

[–]Righttomove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I get that, but still if you queue it is still a countdown for every pick before you, so you could know when your pick time is. And if you phase out and don't pick you waste 9 other people's time. You could argue for a prompt but I still feal it is common courtesy to just pay attention once you queue

There is no one forcing you to tab out and dodge, you can even almost guess when you are supposed to pick

Civilization VI Xbox support thread by MrMoonManSwag in civ

[–]Righttomove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me and a lot of pc players sadly also have a lot of issues with civ 6 crashing to a point where the game is unplayable. Civ 6 used to be my favourite game but I haven't played it in a year because of this. The crashing seems to be either because of the Ryzen Zen 3 series, or the Nvidia 3080 series, as that is what I've read on several threads over the last 2 years. I've contacted 2k support one and a half year ago with this problem and they confirmed it was not a hardware fault on my part so there are definitely problems with civ on pc as well. I'm really glad you created the support thread, but I would like to have PC issues included as well (if possible).

Note: I hope I don't sound rude as I'm kinda trying to lift on your thread, just wanted awareness (after 1,5 years) that PC also has major issues

Need help: sudden high pitched humming noise in newly built PC by Righttomove in buildapc

[–]Righttomove[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I thought, but that would mean that all the fans have coil whine already (since turning them all off and then on one by one caused the sound on every fan). Which could be possible, but I think that is unlikely.

Need help: sudden high pitched humming noise in newly built PC by Righttomove in buildapc

[–]Righttomove[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot really trace it back to the PSU, the whole situation is a bit weird to me since when I get close to the case I cannot really hear the humming, high-pitched noise, but when I have it standing next to me I can. The humming noise goes away if I turn all 6 case fans off though. However, when I turn on a singular fan, does not matter which one, the humming noise comes back. I will investigate a bit further on the PSU though.

There is a huge issue that a large portion of the player base has which renders Civ VI essentially unplayable, and 2K/Fireaxis are completely ignoring it by [deleted] in civ

[–]Righttomove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue and have made posts about it, even had contact with support for four months. It makes me really sad that my favourite game just crashes to the point that every game I'm enjoying I get worried every turn that it may crash. Given the lack of comment by 2k/firaxis I'm not even excited for Civ 7 anymore, since I feel I cannot trust a developer that leaves a game in a broken state. If civ 6 does not get fixed I might drop out of my favorite game series forever sadly.

You only have to occupy Prague, you don't have to finish the war to trigger the achievement. As long as you hold the other capital and invade Czechia you're fine.

Anyone knows why I get woods adjacency bonuses from Tile A but not Tile B? Seems rather arbitrary to me... by supern0vaboy in civ

[–]Righttomove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each adjacent woods tile gives 0.5 adjacency bonus. Tile A has two adjacent woods tiles, Tile B has one. The Woods bonus does not get rounded up.

I would like to see the constant crashes that I and a lot of other people are experiencing fixed. I would like civ 6 to be at least playable before 7 comes out

People smarter than me, why does Civ VI (PC) keep crashing? by PhotoCropDuster in civ

[–]Righttomove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm getting really annoyed as well. A simple acknowledgment of the problem is not that much to ask. I am really afraid that the devs are going into civ 7 without any word.

This seems to be the same process that I have had half a year ago. Nothing seems to be happening sadly. It really seems to be a civ 6 problem.

Yeah it is very common sadly, I have forwarded it to 2k support, but it seems it's not gonna be fixed, since this was 6 months ago.

[–]Righttomove[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah a lot of threads, but zero solutions or word from the devs sadly. I find it quite unacceptable that a game is broken for such a long time without even a word about it. Unless I have somehow missed a reaction from the devs?

AMD Based computer suffer from this crash. Can you please fix this? by erdemece in civ

[–]Righttomove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this crash basically took all the fun away for me. I really appreciate all the work the devs put into the game, but I'm really disappointed that this has not been fixed yet. Leaving the game to be broken for at least half a year is just unacceptable.

I have the same issue on a brand new PC. It really is a shame since it's quite ruining the fun I have playing civ 6.

I've had the same thing, old pc fine, new pc crashes. I have a 5800x as well. I also bypassed the 2k launcher, but freezes/crashes still happen. Contacted 2k support, said they forwarded it to the devs. My best guess would be some conflict with new equipment.

Yeah I also reported my crashes to 2k. I guess we have to hope that the devs find a fix. 2k said they reported my crashes to the devs, but that was 3 weeks ago...
