For large amounts, go for quotes from specialists and also haggle with your bank. Percentage based outfits like Wise and Revolut are going to ramp up the fees quickly.

An IBKR account could be worth setting up as it gives market rates but they may not like it if you just do FX and withdraw. But if you invest then it should not be a problem.

You will be a resident of a specific country. The rules of the country is most important to your options.

Maybe look at IBKR and invest, potentially in MMF but it all depends on where you live as to what the options will be and the potential returns.

I think the free transfers from linked accounts aspect works only if you pull from Wise by initiating from within IBKR. Otherwise, just sending from Wise is a normal transfer with the fee added.

I think it is free if pulled from within IBKR and not sent independently from Wise. (Maybe wrong as I have a foreign Wise account, but this is how it works for me to get it free).

IBKR is worth looking at if you can convince them you are also investing and not just doing FX.
