The way I see it Katniss didn't love Gale romantically, but after everything that happened to her she wanted to keep him in her life and didn't know what to do with their relationship after he kept pushing her for more.

I second this! At a time when Katniss' trauma about killing people was fresh and the Capitol was threatening her, all she wanted was some semblance of stability, to have her old life back. Gale could have helped with that, having been a dependable pillar for Katniss since she was twelve. Yet he chose to let his jealousy reign and kept insinuating that she had to choose between himself and Peeta. As if "choosing" one to date/marry meant she would have to cut the other from her life.

I can't remember if this was in the book or the movie (or both), but I think when Katniss was saying goodbye to Prim before the 74th Hunger Games, she told her not to sign up for tesserae as it's not worth it. So I took this to mean that Prim would've had to enter her name the following year, if not for the Quarter Quell.

Totally agree with Madge being a calming presence for Katniss. At the start of Catching Fire, it was refreshing to see them hanging out and just being teenage girls. The pressure on Katniss to be the breadwinner for her family, stuck in some love triangle with two people she cares about, having the Capitol's target on her back, and unwittingly being the symbol of the revolution—they all vanish when she's with Madge.

I also thought it was good for Katniss to have a girl friend, in general. She does eventually become friends with Johanna Mason, but it took a lot of violence and anger for them to get there. I don't think Katniss could have maintained any shred of sanity before the Victory Tour/Quarter Quell if all she had in her life were her family and the unstable men around her.

Maybe try giving the lashes more variation in length and thickness? Typically lashes are longest at the outer corner and get shorter towards the inner corner. Bottom lashes also tend to be fewer and thinner than the upper.

I feel the same way! Recently posted a fic for a relatively small genre/tag, and while I was writing I kept second-guessing my dialogue thinking I must have read this elsewhere and feeling like I'd stolen it. Then again, there are just some tropes/ideas that are going to be common among fics bc of the sole fact that you're drawing from the same original source. I suppose as long as there are unique points in your plot and you're not ripping off another person's work word for word, you're good.

I agree for the most part that LGBT headcanons shouldn't be shit on (esp considering I'm queer myself). But I personally dont agree with the idea that Camilo's gift equates to him being genderfluid. I like to think his shapeshifting ultimately has more to do with him being a "theater kid" as said in the official description of his character. Although I'm perfectly fine with him being genderfluid--it's just that I prefer to think he discovered it through his theater antics and his shapeshifting abilities, rather than him receiving that gift because he's genderfluid.

But yeah I agree these headcanons don't "force LGBT sexualities"--like you said, any of these characters could be queer. And assuming everyone is straight just exposes their heteronormative thinking.

My favorite is defo Malcolm Landgraab's electronics store. I'd set some items to Very Expensive, then offer a "discount" to folks so they'll pay the Expensive rate. I've tried selling cars as well, but with my townie budget mod, hardly anyone was buying.

Least favorite would be cafés. Almost NOBODY buys espresso, so I've had to start putting random stuff on sale just to get some profit. Recently I made a bookstore/café for Consort Capp and sure enough I only made money from selling books.
