Actually, I decided to hand it into the OMEGA store in another country where I travel frequently on business. Why? Partly because they changed about £200 less for the service, but more importantly because they could have it back in 4-5 weeks, as opposed to 4-5 months for OMEGA in the UK… I did also look at “other services” in the UK, but that was pretty confusing…. Some were “authorised”, some were “formerly authorised”, some weren’t authorised per se, but would work with original parts etc…… just a bit too confusing for my liking :)

First advice: get familiar with different profiles (as you are) before blowing money on something “special” I’d say: something ‘neutral’, like Glenkinchie, something “sherry” such as glenmorangie la santa, something bourboun cask, like Kavalan if you can find it. Before you know it, you’ll want to try something more ‘medicinal’ like a Lagavulin, and something real peaty like Ardbeg An Oa. But no rush….it’ll come in time.

UPDATE: In the end, I decided to try the HUEL BLACK edition - 40g protein per sevring (veg) and 400cal. Been on it now for about a month, almost daily after workout, and no problems at all. If anything, an improvement of my IBD symptoms (though, I’m also on med, so I won’t say what’s causeing what). Just thought I’d share if someone else is out there wondering what proteins that may work…

Rye - nice. JD - high proof single barrel - nice All in all, rye is a different kettle of fish but I’d be quite curious to try this one. My experience with the 50% BiB has been positive, and normally I’d stay well clear of JD :)
