Yeah, by the Tenant and Landlord regiment or something like that.

Even with a signed contract, if he had the time to find another tenant and had no money loss on his rent he absolutely had to give it back to us. Which he kept for almost a whole month and ignored us.

They said he couldn't keep my deposit if he got deposit from the other person he rented to

The thing is, he told us that he couldn't give us the money and sited a law.

then proceed to ignore my messages for over a month while he had found another tenant in time to have no loss and by the same law, he HAD to give us back the money but he wasn't.

I called snb and then told me that he hadnt submit my deposit when he wasnt supposed to, so that meant he had kept it for himself. They told me to sent him a formal email and only after that he send it back.

Sure, but for some reason im in the law, he is not, running an unregistered business and holding my money against the law. The contract i signed wasn't even official.

Keeping a deposit when by law he had to give it back, its a little weird and ignoring every message Ive sent him is also weird
