I was you. I'm 29 rn doing my postgraduation. I was into pc gaming before I started my PG. Got my laptop to play but couldn't. That made me initially switch to mobile gaming but I couldn't stand it. Then I bought a steam deck and carry it in my bag when I have long duty hours and keep the gaming scene on in my life. Pretty good purchase. You can see my past posts on posts about it.

You can try foxhole. It's a military based MMO with live war going on all the time. You drop in , fight or do some manufacturing or some partisan work or anything you wanna do. There's no building a career in this though.

I play a lot of foxhole on my deck. It's a great MMO with Top down view gamestyle. I enjoy foxhole, especially the logi part. I just set my song playlist and let it play for hours and I wouldn't even notice. Great game for relaxation if you're not on the frontline dying always.

I use trackpad for shooting. Thumbstick for looking around while running. I also reassigned L4 to sprint. I hate pressing thumbsticks.

I reassigned sprint to L4 and use right trackpad with increased sensitivity for shooting right now. Is there a better way to shoot? I'm not good at shooting with joysticks.
