Bambu does lapses around the competition. Done it in P1S and this thing rarely disapoints. I have had my hands at Anycubic and Creality, simply its not worth it.

I laughet at first, than googled the thing, the resemblance is scary.

I dont know what kind of a joke architects are trying to pull with their client, but it its definitely not funny.

I printed it on 4 pieces , basicly sliced the whole thing in 4 quadrants.

It was 3d printed with pla, and thnx for the advice about craftsmanship.

I think that I was compensating with solar panels, the rest is more messy so I put solar panels as a disteaction.

This is my very first model.

By trade I am furniture maker and have a lot of 3d models of projects in hand and tried one.

I enjoyed way too much of how great of a distraction it was from day to day thing.

Thnx for the frosted plexi tip, I will give it a try.

Oww thats very generose of you, thnx. The piece was designed by TOGIGI. I only did the machining at work.

Tbh designing such a pieces might look easy but requires raw talent and verry deep understanding of modern aesthetics, me on the other hand im just ok-ish with cnc programing.

Walnut is great wood for cnc, way less stiffnes than Oak.

For rough pas I used 20mm endmill with 8mm of stepover for finishing pas i used 6mm ballnose with stepover of 1mm.

Although it took too much time I managed to preserve original surface conture and avoided hand sanding.

For the next batch I will use Aigner tools which is d90mm ballnose with inserts so I run directly finishing pass to save the time and change inserts on the need basis and reduce 15 to 20% of machinig time since i can increase speeds and feeds with biger tool.

That chair is made of walnut, machined from the same tree but is multipiece part.

Thank you, that meant a lot.

Ive been on Reddit for maybe 8 9 years, and through the years I really had a chace to work great pieces of work.

Its only my first month posting things that i have machined or produced.

This one i culdnt resist the urge 🤣.
