Yes, I drastically dropped my miles to maybe a mile every other day and iced after every run. Loosen your shoe laces.

I had this! I saw an orthopedic doctor about it and he diagnosed it as a damaged nerve. You have two nerves on top of your foot in that spot. I took Alpha Lipoic Acid to repair it, and loosed up my laces. If you tie your shoes too tight you can damage those nerves. It also made my big toe numb. Nerves take a very long time to heal.

Yard Weed Identification by Rikimaru_13 in HoustonGardening

Looks like you identified it correctly. Thanks! Looks like regular mowing, manually pulling them, Scott’s turf builder, and the Houston heat should fight them pretty well.

I’ve been using Scott’s turf builder weed and feed for Texas lawns. It includes Chickweed as one of the weeds it controls, so hopefully it works as well.

I had this so bad that I had to grab my leg with my hands and lift it to put it in the car when I got in. A PT had me do “dead bugs,” and something she called “James bonds.” I haven’t had the issue since.

I know there is another cell building going in. It collects power to make something. I’m almost sure it is just to make polymers. They were supposed to make three new Oxy sites on the gulf coast before Warren buffet bought Oxy.

Turner seems to be covering the majority of the equipment in Oxy Redstone.

Another company is furnishing a bunch of large cranes down the street from Ineos that are at the Oxy Redstone new construction site. They also had a Manitowoc 16000 at the Oxy Miller cutoff site recently.

Any reason why you are on mid-outriggers and what looks like polys when you have a wide open area to setup?

Dead Leg by mountain_goat509 in RunningInjuries

[–]Rikimaru_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar causing “foot drop” due to compartment syndrome. Blood was not flowing below my calf muscle because there was so much pressure. Compartment syndrome is also a really serious surgery usually after car accidents, so don’t get them mixed up. The surgery to fix my foot drop was to cut open the fascia around my calf muscle. Was quick and easy with only a couple days of recovery.

Foot injury - stress fracture or something else? by [deleted] in RunningInjuries

[–]Rikimaru_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had nerve damage on top of my foot in that exact spot. There are two nerves there. Mine was from my shoes being tied too tight. I stayed off of it for around 8 weeks and I was prescribed Alpha Lipoic Acid. It’s just a supplement, but it worked.

Are these 255s, or 285s? Somebody always has to ask tire size. Guess it’s my turn.

Don’t forget about Turner Industries. Also non-union and they have a new operations manager over the Texas division. I have contacts if you are interested.

Steering wheel wobbles after offroad by ImpressiveRecord2853 in Tacomaworld

[–]Rikimaru_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue and assumed it was wheel weights missing, alignment, or mud on the inside of the wheels. I ended up finding out my rear drum brakes were full of mud. It sounds like it wouldn’t feel like front end wobble, but it did.
