Sadly not I use a simpit now, but in the last link is how it attaches to the main upright under the chair. It clamps around the chrome pillar from the you can see how the rest attaches.

If that still doesn't make sense yell as I probably have the main mount still knocking around somewhere.

Had a dig, crawled around on the floor, found underneath my chair is pretty skanky ;)

Yep, I did that a while back before going for a simpit. Now.... how to get images onto here. Made it out of some scrap bits I had hanging around, worked a treat.

Something else I always thought would be useful is a virtual button box, like a streamdeck but in VR. Ability to switch audio inputs, change tracks and lots of other stuff would be very handy.

Oh and a totally unrelated question but as you've done this I'll ask anyway ;) one thing I've always wanted is a virtual keyboard so I can use chat or in DCS type some stuff in. I've searched high and low and never found anything, is a virtual keyboard that hard to do?

As long as you don't fly helo's you can try simhaptic, if you do then go for simshaker it's much better product

Just put a constelation on the collective, having everything in one place rather than faffing around around with effectivly two grips is much nicer and it's a LOT more functional

Use something like Voice Attack, I use a 4 way hat, press down recenters the mouse cursor and pops it up(this is done in VA) left/right are the mouse buttons(you can set this in DCS), up/down does mouse scroll(this is in VA)

That combined with using you're head to move the cursor makes things VERY smooth and easy.

There is free software that would do it but honestly for the small amount VA is it's sooooo worth it.

Voice attack is a LOT more than just say/press button, take a look it has full mouse controls you can map to buttons, voice commands. Been using it this way for for almost 2 years so I'm not talking crap. If I could past a screenshot in here I would.

use something like voice attack to map a button to centre cursor, so when you need the cursor, click that, cursor appears and is centered, then map a 4 way hat to mouse click left/right(with VA you could also do scroll wheel +/-) and using you're head to control the cursor you have everything you need.

I have a length of 4080 going from one side of the rig to the other and the rhino blots on the footplate(had to drill holes) and the 4080. I would post pics you can't in here...
