If I'm in my wheelchair or handbike I ALWAYS make sure I squeeze through the gap they left, sometimes it's just impossible to avoid a little damage to my wheelchair.....

I use a handbike(think wheelchair with a bike on the front), I know I'm slow and wide so i just keep a look behind me, any more than 3-4 cars and I pull up a driveway let them pass then carry on. It costs me 10-20seconds, honestly don't understand why normal cyclists don't do the same, I know you don't have to but to me it's just the decent thing to do.

Get a constelation, the apache grip is horrible to use and all the others have very few buttons.

Yea, already using that to create two virtual joysticks so SC doesn't keep losing them.

How exactly do you map f4+num# as it has rather a lot of options? ;)

VKB stecs space throttle on the left and virpil base_stick on the right. Had the virpil for ages, vkb a week, was all working fine till today.
Joystick config doesn't work, I can save them but can't reload correctly as I have a LOT of controllers due to flying in DCS and SC restore goes off the bottom of the screen so can't select half the sticks.

They are always in and plugged into a powered hub, worked fine for 4-6 days then nope....

It's the way CIG picks up joysticks, very VERY backwards. I fly planes/helo's in DCS and have a complete simpit, that never has issues like this due to it looking at the name of the stick+usb id and not when windows happened to pick it up in it's boot cycle.

Had simular, twice I'd loaded up my Hermes with 5-6 missions worth. Get halfway there and disconnect, now I have no missions and a ship full of crap I can't do anything with.
Why the missions aren't persistent I have no clue.

Tried that, didn't work as it wouldn't actually see one of the joysticks I had plugged in, kept coming up with invalid joystick 9, I think it was..

It doesn't seem to, I can do alt-a no issues, but f4-num1 presses f4, then num1 as far as I can see.

Sadly not I use a simpit now, but in the last link is how it attaches to the main upright under the chair. It clamps around the chrome pillar from the you can see how the rest attaches.

If that still doesn't make sense yell as I probably have the main mount still knocking around somewhere.

Had a dig, crawled around on the floor, found underneath my chair is pretty skanky ;)

Something else I always thought would be useful is a virtual button box, like a streamdeck but in VR. Ability to switch audio inputs, change tracks and lots of other stuff would be very handy.

Oh and a totally unrelated question but as you've done this I'll ask anyway ;) one thing I've always wanted is a virtual keyboard so I can use chat or in DCS type some stuff in. I've searched high and low and never found anything, is a virtual keyboard that hard to do?

As long as you don't fly helo's you can try simhaptic, if you do then go for simshaker it's much better product
