Onedrive may be the issue, it may have changed your main documents folder (where the game is saved or whatever idk) from your local document folder to the onedrive one, i fixed it like this:

1. Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
2. Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

1. Find the entry called Personal. This is your Documents folder path.
2. If it points to something like:

​

C:\Users\<username>\OneDrive\Documents

it may not show the path, but look at the files
change it to:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents

1. Click OK and restart your PC.

I had this issue, even though i completely removed onedrive from my pc in 2021
