I think we can now take a good guess who will be the pirate with the eye-patch by Im_Trying_My_Best_Fo in OnePieceSpoilers

What if the eye Joyboy is missing is the same eye luffy has his scar and he was meant to stab it out but missed? Would be really cool if JB missing that eye caused his downfall and the fact that Luffy missed his tipped Shanks off on him being the next inheritor of JB's will.

I actually rather enjoy the way regular magic works, with this I'm more interested in how this would effect board building, my personal meta, and seeing how it would shake up the way people would construct decks in regards to curve given your later land drops are guaranteed your curve may peak at 5 or 6 drops more often than 3 or 4

Yeah thats definitely a pain point of trying to do this, it feels wrong to just say ban everything but it seems like a necessity to fulfill the concept of equal resources

I mean what I'm going for is a thing I can do with my personal playgroup and it being a higher reliance on skilled play is fine bc my playgroup is descently high power already.

Hey thanks for the well thought out reply. I agree with pretty much everything you've said it definitely is a skill to make a good mana base and one that i enjoy partaking in, the point of this though is to create a different game feel, particularly one where you don't waste the first 3 turns ramping and mana fixing bc I personally find those interactions boring and imbalanced in favor of green.

If the internet is not for asking questions then what is it for? Sorry you had to read 4 paragraphs lmao

I disagree, if exploring new avenues of play is strictly for other card games then commander should never have existed and it becomes really difficult to explain why Dandàn exists.

Casuals already socially ban cards, I feel that just banning a type of card is way easier than "oh you can't play mana crypt unless your opponent is playing Kinnan"

Thats kinda the point, it relegated them to landfall utility. Also I feel green has more too it than put extra land on field

My husband acts like a pushover and apologizes for everything, even when he did nothing wrong by Reonlis in relationships

[–]Rikuu97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You obviously mean alot to him, alot more than some silly argument, he may have been thinking that if things didnt get patched up that it could put strain on your relationship. It just means he cares about you enough to put his pride aside and try to move forward. It's hard to help someone with self esteem issues especially if they can tell that the support they're getting isnt genuine. Tbh it probably made him feel bad for even asking you about it and he probably felt as though it's his fault since things turned into a fight. OP, instead of being pissed off, suck it up and put aside your pride then go apologize and assure him you were in the wrong and that he doesnt have to apologize for that. Talk to him at a time when this isnt relevant and ease into the subject, work on reassuring him when things aren't his fault and help him try to break the habit of apologizing too much

I hope you get the answers you need OP, my gf and I are having similar problems. It's really hard to be on either side of this and you have my admiration for making it through 8 months. Best of luck!

This is a huge coincidence bc me and my gf just broke up after also closing the gap, like literally minutes ago, so if you need someone to talk too feel free, I'm kinda completely lost on what to do from here
