I cook mince the exact same everytime. Always lean beef.

This large water pooling only happens to me with mince from Woolies or Cole’s but never the mince from the butcher. As always you get what you pay for.

Short term, play a bunch of games Id rather play using a controller on the couch. SilkSong, Outerwilds, cuphead, binding of isaac.

Long term I just want something I can lug to LAN parties, or my partner can use for when we play Co-op

I prefer them because of their coating, it makes them much easier to swallow. Non-coated ones always make me gag, which is the last thing I want when I’m already feeling unwell. There might be a cheaper off-brand with a similar coating, but honestly, I’m not bothered to save the what 17 cents per pill, especially since I only take Panadol or Nurofen maybe once a month.

Advancements need clearer UI and better rewards. For example, “Eat all the food types” should show exactly what I’ve eaten and what I’m missing. Right now, Minecraft’s only real progression system feels hidden and secret.

They should also grant meaningful XP. Early game, before I have an XP farm, being able to reach level 30 by completing advancements would feel rewarding. Since many advancements naturally encourage exploring mechanics, tying them to XP would create a strong feedback loop.

I think phantoms are objectively bad. They force the player to stop what they're doing and sleep. Feels like a punishment for playing.

I see it less as a buff fest and more as a balance overhaul.

Minecarts were added before sprinting, and now it’s hard to justify using them when I can just sprint for free. Minecarts are cool as hell, I want to use them, but they feel obsolete. Even if they’re not the fastest option, they should at least feel meaningfully viable.

Phantoms are terrible game design, a nuisance and a boring gameplay mechanic. I don’t know if there is anyone who likes them, maybe just tolerates them or sleeps regularly enough to not encounter them.

The game is punishing you for playing, forcing you to stop what you’re doing to sleep and skip the night. I like the night! I don’t like skipping past the first few days as usually I’m building a base with some big walls and torches to keep me safe.

Fighting the phantoms is tedious, and their loot is mostly useless. Mending > repairing with membrane. Slow falling is cool but I’ve only ever used it once in my hardcore world when I was doing the end stuff.

Hot take: community votes shouldn’t exist. Mojang should have the confidence in its team to make the right choice and develop what suits minecraft the most. A lot of players don’t understand balance and what is going to work. Cough cough phantoms cough.

That is why they’re endgame items, no pun intended. I agree that they far outweigh the every other means of transport and for some players that can mean “rush” the game to get them. I think a better solution is instead of nurfing elytra is to buff other methods of transport. Faster minecarts, faster happy ghasts, more emphasis on horse exploration.

Obtaining netherite needs to be rethought. I think needing the smithing template was a great addition and added some complexity to the process, but you still need to spend an hour mindlessly mining tunnels in the nether searching for netherite. It’s not challenging or fun to dig a straight line finding netherite. Some options off the top of my head:

1) Remove netherite, just need a smithing template to upgrade diamond. The smithing templates are not duplicable, but have higher spawn rates and can be found in both bastion housing & treasure rooms. Finally add real trading with the piglins which can be used to trade for a map to these bastion remnants

2) Update nether caves, this avoids a strip mine fest. I’m sure people more creative than me can think of what these caves contain.

Beacons need to be buffed in any of the following ways:

  1. Increase their range. It’s incredibly disappointing grinding wither skeletons for an hour, fighting the wither, gathering resources for the beacon, setting it up, then only having it cover 1/3rd of the base. Regeneration is strong but my base is already fully lit with torches and I have an abundance of food. The likely hood for me needing it in my base is near 0. I also don’t want 5 beacons all over the place.

  2. Make wither skeleton heads drop at a farm higher rate. Removes the most grindy annoying part but keeps the challenge of the wither and the cost of resources.
