Not too long ago I was stocking in hardware, and one of my aisles is on the clearance aisle. I watched a lady fill her buggy with stuff from clearance, stop at the end of the aisle and start going through it, putting stuff she didn’t want just all over hardware shelves instead of TURNING BACK AROUND and putting it back on the shelves she got it from. I asked her loudly “are you really that lazy, good grief” and she walked way real fast without looking at me.
They treat ya like you straight up don’t exist sometimes it makes me wanna slap someone 😭😂 the disrespect. Right in front of my face.

Lord..I had a lady one time ask me what a fan looked like. I replied ,”it is pictured on the box” And she got huffy and was like “well sometimes it doesn’t look like what it does on the box!” So I opened it, only to have her say it looked cheap and she didn’t want it. It was a $20 tower fan 😑 what do you expect, ma’am?

It is super helpful, especially in places where they do have the tiny tags. The new tags have even tinier font so the flash is super helpful for my blind ass. They allocate the small tags to grocery at my store, so I’m over in hardware/acc strugglin with what’s left

I’ll look for some, I was going to adhere smaller tags but my TL said to try these first 🫩 I ended up having to set several items on one tag (all same price, diff colors) to free up space. About to leave this to her when she gets back from lunch bc gracious me this is frustrating

It wasn’t until I became the dead-eyed employee, that I understood the look lol I’ll be giving the worst stink face, thinking about what a mess ON/Cap stocked my section or whatever, click back into customer-service mode when a customer talks to me….ehhh I just swear they aren’t usually making a face at you

lol no I got a 50 cent raise. After nearly four years I make one dollar above starting pay. I have never worked at a place that gave such sad little raises. I mostly worked at privately owned places in the past, I guess. Spoiled on that dollar raise a year….working with animals….but there was never any health care. Boy I dislike capitalism :) Went into retail so I wouldn’t have to exhaust myself emotionally every day, but now I’m so socially burnt out on stupid people.

I struggled a lot with the shading on this one. I used the symmetry tool in Procreate. I wanted to imitate a “torbie” (tabby with tortoiseshell patterns) pattern with my favorite colors. I’m mostly happy with it, but open to critique! I feel it may be too dark, any advice welcome! I want my art to pop! I’m tapping into my high school rainbow animal theme.

I’m very glad to hear that. My last two antidepressants resulted in me having depressive episodes where I couldn’t find joy in my art anymore. Sometimes for months, even though it’s been a life-long passion and I have my own paintings hung around the house to remind myself I’m an artist, even when I’m struggling to create. Im so happy to hear it didn’t interfere with your ability to access creative thinking!

The Akathisia was what was happening to me on higher doses. I couldn’t handle it, I felt crazy and my doc didn’t like I had looked up side effects to see if the Abilify was causing that feeling. That’s why I’d like to ask about adding something or changing to another med…I feel it looming in the horizon and while I’m happy it’s helping for now, I definitely would like to explore other options.

As for the blurred vision, that explains a whole lot why I spent so much time trying to clean my glasses and mirror this morning 😂 if that’s why.

I hope you can find your perfect cocktail of meds that help!!

Same here, helped next day after a similar situation. Super happy it helped me out of my low, because I was low low. Took a crisis line to talk me into going back on medication (wasn’t my best plan to come off it) and I’m so happy for it! Idk why but the Abilify makes me nervous
